The penultimate quest in the Oxenefordscire arc ofAssassin’s Creed Valhallatasks players with infiltrating Lady Eadwyn’s stronghold. Titled Ringing Cyne Belle, this quest takes players to Cyne Belle Castle near Ciltern Hills and pits them against dozens of enemies in a bid to weaken the stronghold.

How to Start Ringing Cyne Belle?
While players have the option of completingthe quest Chipping Away in this arcbefore this moment, either way Ringing Cyne Belle only opens up after the Fiery Ambush quest is complete. Firstly, players need to head to the Derelict Shrine of Camulus and speak with Geadric. He can be found speaking with his men in the center of the forgotten shrine.
Geadric will inform players that they need to head over to Cyne Belle Castle and destroy some of the defenses there in order to make the invasion easier. His most pressing needs are that the Springalds and oil cauldrons get sabotaged or completely destroyed.
How to Weaken the Cyne Belle Castle Defenses?
Approaching the castle head on is a daunting prospect and not in the spirit of this infiltration/stealth quest. Instead, players should head to the northern walls and look for an overhanging tree that can lead them into the fortifications silently. Near the northern walls are a pair of Springalds while near the southern walls there are a further two Springalds and an oil cauldron. These Springalds are the same defensive weapon players could make use of in theLunden arc inAssassin’s Creed Valhallaand they can be disabled with a well-placed arrow or sabotaged up close.
Destroying/sabotaging all five of these defensive items will be enough to complete this quest and players can choose to return to Geadric at this point. There are plenty of other opportunities to make the next quest much easier, however, and these are all either along the stone walls or inthe interior section of Cyne Belle Castle. Atop the gate are a pair of oil cauldrons that can be disabled while just inside this further courtyard are more Springalds atop the buildings.
Regardless of how many more defensive structures are destroyed, the only thing preventing players from moving on is returning to the Derelict Shrine of Camulus and getting close to Geadric. He is nowaccompanied by Sigurdand Basim and the three are discussing their future plans.
