Amouranth sometimes shares her big money investmentswith fans on Twitter. Last year, Amouranth revealed that she was buying about $2 million worth of Activision Blizzard stock. At the time, the stock was listed at $79.32. Now Activision Blizzard’s stock price has jumped significantly and Amouranth has netted herself a nice profit.

As recently explained by Amouranth on Twitter, she has made around $261,000 from her$2 million investment in Activision Blizzardlast year. Currently, the Activision Blizzard stock is listed at $90.07. Amouranth has revealed that she is going to be selling half of her Activision Blizzard stock while it’s on the up.
Activision Blizzard’s stock pricehas benefited greatly from recent developments regarding Microsoft’s attempted acquisition of the company. Microsoft first announced its plans to acquire Activision Blizzard last year, but the process has hit some snags along the way. Microsoft has managed to clear most regulatory roadblocks keeping it from closing the Activision Blizzard acquisition, though the UK CMA blocked the deal in that region. The FTC attempted to block the record-breaking deal in the United States as well, but failed, and now Microsoft is technically able to finally complete the acquisition.
As one might imagine, these developments have been good news to Activision Blizzard shareholders, and so it’s no surprise the company’s stock price is on the rise. Other developments this year could see the Activision Blizzard stock price climb even higher. After all, anewCall of Dutygame is reportedly set to launch in 2023, which will be great for Activision if it happens as there were previously reports from reputable sources that there wouldn’t be a new main seriesCoDgame for 2023.
Call of Dutyis almost always the best-selling gameeach year, and it will be interesting to see if the 2023 game can reach those same heights. Of course, by that point, it’s entirely possible Activision will officially be under the Microsoft umbrella, so fans and potential investors should keep that in mind.
