If all that sounds a bit confusing, it’s because it’s supposed to be that way, as Marvel seems to be taking its meta-marketing to the next level by continuing to poke fun at Lang’s newfound fame in the MCU, one of the plot points teased in theAnt-Man 3trailers. After all, evenMs. Marvelmentioned Lang’s appearancein theThis Powered Life Podcastfor an episode titled “Big Me Little Me: A Scott Lang Interview,” perhaps setting the stage forLook Out For The Little Guy.

Marvel Studiosdropped this strange announcement via a video featuring Rudd recording the audiobook version ofLook Out for the Little Guy.For further clarification, this 100% real book is already available for pre-order on Amazon and Disney’s bookstore for $26.99, with Rudd detailing how this movie prop came to life. AlthoughLook Out for the Little Guywon’t be out until later this year, on September 5, to be specific, the book will be a recreation of Lang’s MCU bestseller.
Judging from theAnt-Man and the Wasp: Quantumaniatrailers, Scott and Cassie Lang will have a more difficult task than pushing book sales.Kang the Conqueror is already being played outas the Avengers' most formidable foe yet. Nevertheless, it will be interesting to see if Ant-Man’s fame plays a part if his relationship with his daughter, asQuantumaniasuggests Lang’s time of reckoning is near.
Ant-Man 3’s previews have made Marvel fans wonder if there’s any chance that the superhero could die in his own movie given the might of Kang’s powers, making an autobiography both the perfect marketing stunt and homage for this Avenger.
