Footage of the much-anticipated first-person shooterAtomic Heartappears to have leaked online. Recently, there has been a lot of conversation around Mundfish’s upcoming title, particularly on what gamers can expect. Now, with the leakedAtomic Heartgameplay making it to the internet, fans could get a better glimpse into the game themselves.
Originally planned for a 2022 launch,Atomic Heartis an action RPG FPS title developed by Mundfish that’s set to release next month. By now, the developers have shared plenty of details onAtomic Heartincluding its look and feel as well as how combat will take shape in the title. Mundfish even offered adeep dive into Facility 3826, the game’s primary location. The open world ofAtomic Heartis dubbed “near utopian,” though developers have indicated that players will get to explore “old gloomy corridors, creepy labs, and automated workshops roamed by hostile robots” among other things.

A YouTube account going by the name “Sergei” has uploaded almost 15 minutes of uncut gameplay footage. The clip offers a close look at some ofAtomic Heart’s combat, traversal, and puzzle-solving, along with other interesting elements like how the looting system functions inside the game. Additionally, shots pulled from the YouTube video seem to be surfacing online all over social media. Given that this is an unofficial release, there’s a chance that the footage might be from an earlier build of the game. So, the video may not give an accurate overview of Mundfish’s upcoming title.
Of course, developers have already showcased gameplay months before the February release date, albeit not to this extent. Recently, Mundfish unveiled a4K RTX gameplay trailer forAtomic Heartwhere fans got a first look at GeForce’s RTX rendering capabilities. While the footage shows promise and offers plenty of things to be excited about, there are still questions about how RTX-enabled performance will impact frame rates and other metrics. Though, with the release date inching closer it looks like it won’t be long until more details come to light.
Following the launch next month, gamers can also expect some interesting post-launch content. Mundfish has shared that the plannedDLC forAtomic Heartwill be single-player and story-focused. Additionally, the studio has indicated that no multiplayer add-ons are in the works at present, though the DLC will look to build on the story adding new territories, quests, puzzles, and enemies into the mix. In any case, It remains to be seen how the leaked gameplay footage will impact the game’s expectations and reception leading to launch. So far, it appears that there’s no shortage of excitement for the game.
