After a decade of airing the adventures of Eren Yeager in his quest to free his people, the Eldians, from the oppression of the Marleyans and the rest of the world, theAttack on Titananime series is about to end. While Eren may not have had the best idea to end the centuries-long struggle against the world, he marched forward without looking back. And with the upcoming end of his march, fans are excited.
Moreover, with the official release date for the last part of theAttack on Titananime series making headlines, fans wonder what to expect from the second part of the last season. Although the anime may make various changes with the adaptation, fans who want to know what to expect from the last part of the final may do so using the manga as reference material.

The Remnants Of The Survey Corps Begin The Battle Atop Eren
The last aired season of theAttack on Titananime series stopped when Armin, Reiner, and some other members of the Survey Corps landed on Eren to stop him. While no one expected it to be easy, after landing on top of Eren, various Titans attack so intensely thatthe Survey Corpsmembers get overwhelmed. As Eren can controlall Titansafter gaining the founder’s abilities, he can also control the Titans of Zeke, Galliard, and other past Titans. With Colossal, Beast, Armored, and War Hammer Titans surrounding the group that goes to stop Eren, the probability of containing the rumbling seems dim. Moreover, the plan is to have Armin transform into the Colossal Titan atop Eren to blow him and the surrounding Titans to bits; however, Armin is quickly captured by Ymir through a Titan and sent to the paths, a gateway connecting the Founding Titan, the nine primordial Titans, and all of Ymir’s subjects.
Armin Meets Zeke In The Paths
Before Armin is sent to the paths, the alliance formed to stop Eren concocts a plan to kill Zeke in an attempt to stop the rumbling. Although the chances of the rumbling stopping after Zeke dies are slim, the alliance has to try whatever they can as they are desperate to save the world. After landing on top of Eren and confronting the Beast Titan, the Beast proved to be an empty shell. Thankfully, Armin discovers Zeke on the path and talks with him. Zeke wonderswhy Armin strives so hardto save the world, even though he will eventually die, whether or not he lives past the imminent destruction of humanity. However, Armin explains that living mundane lives is not pointless.
Zeke Gets The Titans To Support The Survey Corps And Dies
Thankfully, after entering the paths, Armin convinces Zeke that the world is worth fighting for. While Zeke still believesthe Eldian Euthanasia Planis the most effective method to end the endless hate and wars, he decides to help Armin and calls out to the other Titans to do the same. Now out of the paths and back to reality, Armin explains to the surprised Survey Corp members that the Titans are helping them because of Zeke. Prepared to die, Zeke calls out to Levi, beckoning him, saying that he is sure he (Levi) has wanted to see him. Seeing Zeke, Levi unhesitatingly decapitates him, ending Zeke Yeager,the Beast Titanand Eren’s brother.
Mikasa & Eren
Sincethe rumblingbegan, the Survey Corps and their allies have tried to find a way to stop the rumbling without killing Eren. While the chances that Eren would survive were slim, it was a possibility they weren’t willing to discard. However, before the alliance lands on top of Eren’s Founding Titan, Eren connects them to the paths and tells them there is no need to talk. The only way to stop the rumbling would be to kill him, and they are free to do so. While this killed the hopes of stopping the rumbling without killing Eren, Mikasa still held on to a chance. However, when the perfect opportunity to kill Eren comes, Levi prompts Mikasa to do it, and the latter, gathering her feelings, strengthens her resolve and beheads him (Eren).
Eren And Armin Have A Long Talk
As Eren dies, the conversation he and Armin had through the power ofthe Founding Titanresurfaces in Armin’s mind. As Eren made Armin forget their conversation, the only time Armin could remember was after Eren passed on. In their conversation, Eren and Armin talk about many things and start with their childhood memories. They talk about the true nature of Ymir and why she continued to obey King Fritz despite all he did to her. Eren also talks about why he did what he did. And how he had no choice as it was already destined to happen. In a roundabout way, Erin also mentions that he wants to stay with Mikasa and does not want any other person to have her. Bearing great guilt, Erin also mentions how he was the one who caused a Titan to kill his mother to save Bertholdt during the The Fall of Shiganshina arc, as it was not Bertholdt’s time to die then.
The World Continues On Without The Titans
After Eren’s death, the legacy of the Titans vanishes, and all Titans are lost from the world. Moreover, Titan shifters like Reiner and Pieck lose their Titan forms and now have a longer life expectancy. Due to the Eldians (Eren) wiping out 80% of the world’s population, the world is still against them. However, despite the hate they face, Armin, Reiner, Pieck, and other alliance members band together to convince the world that there is no need for hate anymore. Although no one knows how the situation would play out, the Eldians from Paradis Island and the Titan shifters from Marley believe that the world would at least want to hear their story.
