Now, the next update to the game could be equally sizable, according to the developer.

A post to the official Larian Studios Twitter account teases the massive update, sharing vague references to some of the changes included in Patch 2. Larian suggests the patch will feature “major improvements” to the game’s performance, as well as a variety of “tweaks and changes” similar to those found in Patch 1. The post also suggests the developer will bemaking changes to Origin Character epilogues, taking into account feedback the studio has received from fans. No release date was given for the launch of Patch 2 forBaldur’s Gate 3.
News of a major update forBaldur’s Gate 3comes as many fans have offered their own feedback for how to improve the already beloved RPG. One particularly sour note for many fans has beenthe method of recruiting Minthara, one of the game’s more popular companions. Others suggested overall improvements for the game’s Evil alignment, feeling Evil choices do not provide enough rewards.
