One announcement included inDICE’s updated roadmap forBattlefield 2042is a delay to the beginning of Season 1.Battlefield 2042fans have been anticipating Season 1 since a March release date was leaked back in December, but now the initial season has been pushed back to the Summer. The Steadfast Exclusive Legendary bundle includes a Zero Resistance skin forBattlefield 2042Specialist Mackay, Grasshopper weapon skin, Rapid Hammer weapon skin, Iron Chariot vehicle skin, Rib Tickler melee weapon, Resolute player card background, and The Steadfast player card icon.
DICE has confirmed thatBattlefield 2042Year 1 Pass holders will get the Steadfast bundle with the game’s next update which will include many of the upcoming changes teased by the developers. Although a few features and fixes were hinted at for the next update inBattlefield 2042’s roadmap, DICE didn’t announce a release date for the next patch. BecauseBattlefield 2042Season 1was originally teased for a March release, this may indicate that fans of the game will see an update next month.
Battlefield 2042Season 1 is expected to release in the Summer with lots of new content, including a new map that has been leaked. The new map was originally called Ridge and is currently known as Exposure. It is set in British Columbia, Canada at a shared research base between the US and Canada, and like many of the otherBattlefield 2042maps, it offers a large area to explore. Season 1 will offer players aBattlefield 2042Battle Passto unlock which may include Specialist skins, weapon skins, vehicle skins, and more.
