A Kind-Hearted Pastor With A Darker Side
Miguel is a pastor of the Church of Light, and therefore, many of the devotees and residents of Sandrock look up to him for guidance when Matilda is busy during the trying times of My Time at Sandrock.
Although a member of the church, Miguel turns out to benot a nice man, with the main story of the cozy title revealing a dark turn that may cause many players to question if they truly wish to pursue a romance with him. Until this event, Miguel appears like a supportive fellow who encourages the builder and the other members of the town to try their hardest. While Miguel does some bad things, players can still easily romance or even marry the Pastor of the Church of Light. Some may even be surprised to hear the sweet lines he says and accept his thoughtful gifts, too.

Pen is an enforcer of theChurch of Lightand the so-called protector of Sandrock. If the player enjoys a man who will constantly refer to them as “skinny arms,” then Pen is the option for them. At first glance, Pen is an easy bachelor to impress, as players can easily increase his relationship through gifts until he accepts a Heart Knot. However, players who are hoping to marry Pen won’t ever get this chance, as he will never accept the proposal.
Like Miguel, Pen is another fellow who turns out to have a dark secret that may put some players off romancing this once hero of Sandrock. That said, Pen is still lovable even with these issues, and therefore, players may still feel like giving him a chance.

Unsuur is simply a member of the Civil Corps alongside Justice. He takes his job very seriously, which can make talking to him seem very plain for some players.
However, this may be a positive for some folks, as Unsuur is certainly a safe option to get to know. Players don’t need to worry about him doing anything wrong. Plus, he has his own romance storyline that is incredibly cute. It sees him create a stone stack as a metaphor for the love shared between himself and the builder. Unsuur is another easy-to-amaze bachelor option inMy Time at Sandrock. With an interest in rocks, players are likely to form a connection by giving him plenty of them, which can easily cause Unsuur to confess his love.

A Bachelor Who Is A Fashion Icon
Pablo is a character that players will not have access to straight away during their time in Sandrock. At the start of the game, he is currently out on adventures looking fornew fashion trendsand such, and therefore, players will not see him until the day after they start the Operation De-Geeglate mission.
As a fashion icon, a player’s builder will need to be fashion-forward to get on his good side. This includes showering the man with all sorts of clothing gifts whenever possible and perhaps popping their head into the bachelor’s salon every day for either a quick chat or a new look. Although unlocked later in the story of Sandrock, players don’t need to concern themselves with completing another quest to make Pablo a bachelor for them to pursue. Once he has settled, giving Pablo enough gifts to befriend him will give players a better chance of the bachelor accepting the Heart Knot.

The Classic Town Flirt
Every game that featurespossible romance optionsneeds to include a typical flirt character who is incredibly bold and somewhat vain, and Arvio is exactly that guy. As the owner of the general goods store known as By the Stairs, Arvio uses his charms to pull in potential customers, including the player. Arvio might be the town flirt in Sandrock, but romancing him still requires the player to get this merchant to friend status. Once here, a Heart Knot will make Arvio the player’s partner, or they can wait for him to confess during one of his friendship missions.
Although many of his pick-up lines or simple compliments have likely been used on every other person in town, many players can’t help falling for Arvio, as his deep care for his sister shows that even this flirt cares for the other residents of Sandrock.

A Devotee To The Church Of Light
As the only other romanceable member of the Church of Light, Burgess is by far the most tame option of the three. While some players may grow to dislike him due to Burgess being the guy who controls the amount of water the town can use – a precious resource needed to run every bit of machinery at a player’s home – Burgess is one of the sweetest bachelors in Sandrock.
Any player who is trying to win Burgess' heart needs to be a golden citizen of Sandrock because although he is anxious, Burgess is the man to tell the player off when they chop down any trees or cacti in the desert. So long as players avoid upsetting him, he’s an easy man to please. He is a simple man to please with his love of plants and fish, making it easy for any player looking to start a relationship with him to hand him a Heart Knot. Unlike Pen, Burgess can also be married if players wish to go one step further.

A Writer Looking For His Next Story
Traveling from his homeland of Atara, Ernest took the train to Sandrock in the hope of finding inspiration for his writing. As luck would have it, the infamous Logan hijacked his train on the way to the desert town, giving Ernest something new to write about. Ernest can come across as a little spoiled, especially as he seems mildly offended at the criticism of a small child who has read some of his past writing.
Learning more about Ernest, the player will discover that thissomewhat famous writerwishes to be even more well-known, as he hopes to one day be even more famous than his sister, who is a singer. It is up to the player to help inspire him while also showing him that he is enough even as he is. Ernest may not be a romance option at the start ofMy Time at Sandrockdue to his arriving in town later. However, once he has arrived, players can give Ernest gifts like any of the other bachelors until he’s been befriended enough to accept a Heart Knot.

One Of The Most Intelligent Residents Of Sandrock
As a man who is stronglydedicated to his research, it’s a surprise that Qi even has the time to spare for any sort of romance inMy Time at Sandrock. Thankfully, a player can easily get on his good side by becoming Qi’s assistant during his research, finding him the artifacts he needs or simply helping him around his lab.
Although he might be quite straightforward to befriend, players will still need to be patient when romancing Qi, as this researcher doesn’t have much of an interest in private conversation. As such, it may take some time to finally establish a heart-to-heart with him. Qi is another romance option for players that can easily be started by giving him the things he enjoys without worrying about completing a certain mission. Once players have got Qi to a friend, they can give him a Heart Knot, though it is also possible for Qi to confess to the player through his friendship missions, too.

The Misunderstood Outlaw
Logan was once a fellow resident of Sandrock until something happened that caused him to flee the desert town. Since that moment, he has become a wanted man of Sandrock due to countless unlawful activities, such asa train robbery.
Players will eventually get to meet the Yak horn-wearing cowboy and find out more about the man that Sandrock has deemed a criminal, only to learn that he is simply seeking justice. Since the full release ofMy Time at Sandrock, Logan can finally be romanced, turning this supposed bad boy into the perfect partner. Players who wish to win the heart of Logan will first need to complete the quest ‘The Outpost,’ or Logan will not accept a confession from them. Naturally, before this point, Logan is also seen as a bit of an outlaw, so it isn’t a surprise that he has other things on his plate to deal with.

The Town’s Actual Protector
Alternatively, another option for someone who fights for justice is the character Justice himself. He’s the leader of the Civil Corps which is situated inside the town of Sandrock, and his role is to simplyprotect the townfrom any dangers, including attacks from Logan. Justice is another bachelor that players don’t need to worry about jumping through specific hoops and completing various quests to romance. However, certain parts of dialogue in the main story will be different depending on whether the player has chosen to give Justice a Heart Knot or if they ended up marrying him.
Getting to know this Sheriff of Sandrock really shows the player how important justice is for Justice, as he sees the entirety of the town as his responsibility. Players are sure to interact with Justice for many of the main missions inMy Time at Sandrock, and therefore, they may find themselves naturally gravitating towards him.
