TheDevilfoil Maskis situational equipment that increases character strength by +1, but there is a catch to it. The increase in Strength when using the Devilfoil Mask scales per creature who’s also wearing the mask in a 20M radius.

However, a downside players need to be aware of when donning the Devilfoil Mask is that characters wearing the mask also suffer from -1 to theirIntelligence,Wisdom, andCharismastats.

TheMirror of Lossis a special lore object players can encounter in the House of Grief. To effectively use the mirror,a character must first pass a DC25 Arcana or Religion check. Then, any character can proceed to interact with the mirror and surrender one of their memories in exchange for raising any of the chosen stats by +2.

When interacting with the Mirror of Loss to surrender the character’s memory, the first dialogue corresponds to Strength. Players can choose this option and receive a +2 buff to their Strength ability.

Grants +1 To Strength Saving Throws And Mage Hand Bonus Action

TheHr’a’cknir Bracersare a pair of very rare gloves that can be acquired towards the end of Act 2. Right before players leave theShadow-Cursed Landsand head towards the Baldur’s Gate waypoint, they’ll be ambushed by a group of Githyanki warriors, and the Hr’a’cknir Bracers can be looted from one of the Githiyankis after they’re defeated.

Besides offering +1 to Strength saving throws and the Mage Hand bonus action, the Hr’a’cknir Bracers also allow players to use the Telekinesis spell once per short rest. While these gloves may not be purely Strength-oriented, their versatile spell combination definitely makes them a piece of must-have gear.

The Mighty Clothis a rare garment that increases the wearer’s Strength by +2. In addition to the Strength modifier, the armor also grants the Bull’s Strength condition and Bull Rush class action.

The Bull’s Strength condition doubles thewearer’s carrying capacity and grants advantage on a Strength check. The Bull Rush class action allows the wearer to charge 3m forward and potentially knock enemies back. The Mighty Cloth’s passive feature, Unwavering Bull, prevents the wearer from being pushed back and grants advantage on saving throws against the Restrained condition.

18Harmonium Halberd

Increases Strength by +2, Up To A Maximum Of 23

Among weapons, theHarmonium Halberdis a unique weapon that increases Strength by +2, to a maximum of 23. However, the cost of using the weapon is that the wielder suffers from -1 in Intelligence and Wisdom.

Proficient characters can also utilize the weapon’s three unique actions: Rush Attack, Lacerate, and Cleave. The Halberd also benefits from the Extra Reach attribute that increases the range ofopportunity attacksfrom 1.5m to 2.5m. The weapon can also be dipped into surfaces to enhance its effectiveness.

17Titanstring Bow

Deals Additional Damage Equivalent To Character’s Strength Modifier

TheTitanstring Bowis a rare longbow that can bepurchased from Berm or Lann Tarv in Act 2. Since the bow is classified as a Titan weapon, it deals additional damage equivalent to the player’s Strength modifier, in addition to their Dexterity modifier.

To fully take advantage of this bow, players should consider distributing their ability scores equally into Dexterity and Strength. Archers can achieve this combination by consumingpotions of Hill Giant Strength or equipping the Club of Hill Giant Strengthto set their Strength at 19.

16Bonespike Garb

Temporarily Gain +15 HP Upon Entering Rage

While theBonespike Garbisn’t meant for Strength-based characters, the perks offered by this garb make it too good to pass up. The clothing negates all incoming damage by 2 points, and when the wearer of this garb suffers a melee hit, the attacker also receives Piercing damage equivalent to the wearer’s Constitution modifier.

Additionally, if the garb’s wearer is of theBarbarian class,entering Rage grants them 15 temporary hit points, potentially extending their survivability in combat.
