Baizhu is a highly anticipated character inGenshin Impact, having already appeared in the Liyue arc as the owner of the Bubu Pharmacy and caretaker of Qiqi. While players were aware of his Dendro vision, details about his gameplay and personality were largely unknown, leading to speculation that he would be a healer fitting for his role.

With the release ofGenshin Impact’s version 3.6 update, players finally have the opportunity to learn more about Baizhu and add him to their teams. Baizhu is primarily focused on healing and shielding, based on his HP, and he also has the ability to buff team members’Dendro elemental reactiondamage. This makes him a valuable addition to many teams and he is relatively easy to build when it comes to his weapons, as he primarily requires HP. However, depending on the specific needs of the team and desired build, there are other options that focus on Elemental Mastery or Energy Recharge.
6Fruit of Fulfillment (R5)
Players who are interested in balancing out Baizhu’s Energy Recharge and Elemental Mastery values may consider using the Fruit of Fulfillment catalyst. While the Favonius Codex provides more Energy Recharge and Sacrifical Fragments makes it easier to utilize Elemental Mastery, the Fruit of Fulfillment offers a great way to boost both stats. Its effect can be triggered off-field, making it an ideal weapon choice for Baizhu, especially in teams that can constantly trigger elemental reactions. Although it may not be the best forgeable weapon on the list, it is a great choice for players who have progressed far enough in the Aranara-related world quest storyline to unlock theforgeable weapon from the Sumeruregion.
5Favonius Codex (R5)

For players who want to useBaizhu’s Elemental Burstoften while also providing support as an energy battery, Favonius Codex can be anideal 4-star weaponchoice due to its Energy Recharge secondary stat and elemental particle generation on its passive effect. However, players must consider that this is a gacha weapon, so if obtaining higher refinements is not possible or if they have not invested in Crit Rate Stat, Fruit of Fulfillment might be a better F2P weapon option. This is because, without high refinements or Crit Rate investment, Favonius Codex may not perform consistently.
4Thrilling Tales Of Dragon Slayers (R5)
The Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers is a3-star weapon that is surprisingly effectivefor Baizhu due to its secondary stat of HP%, which enhances his healing and shielding abilities. Additionally, being a 3-star weapon, it is more accessible for obtaining higher refinements, resulting in a significant increase in ATK. However, it requires strategic switching as some newerGenshin Impactcharacters do not prioritize the ATK stat as much as older characters. Therefore, this weapon’s passive may not be suitable for all teams, but those that can make use of it will benefit greatly.
3Everlasting Moonglow (R1)

Kokomi’s signature weapon, Everlasting Moonglow, is also known as “the Donut” byGenshin Impact’s player community, due to its circular shape. Despite being designed for Kokomi, Baizhu can still make good use of it thanks to its secondary stat and the Healing Bonus effect on its passive. However, since Baizhu doesn’t rely on normal attacks, the second part of the passive isn’t very useful for him. Overall, Everlasting Moonglow isn’t a highly sought-after weapon, so players shouldn’t go out of their way to obtain it and should only consider using it if they happen to have one available.
2Prototype Amber (R5)

Prototype Amber is an excellent 4-star weapon choice for Baizhu and can almost rival Jadefall’s Splendor in terms of healing potential. It boasts an impressively high HP secondary stat and will restore HP to team members after Baizhu’s Elemental Burst as well as regenerate energy for Baizhu to upkeep Elemental Burst. Additionally, sinceit is a forgeable weapon, it is easily obtainable even at higher refinements for many players. Therefore, it is a fantastic F2P option that players should seriously consider.
1Jadefall’s Splendor (R1)
Baizhu’s signature weapon, Jadefall’s Splendor, is custom-made for him and enhances his healing and shielding abilities, much like Prototype Amber. In addition, it generates extra energy and boosts Baizhu’s Elemental DMG for players interested in utilizing him as a damage support. However, since Baizhu is not a primary DPS character, players need not feel obligated to obtain his weapon and can instead opt for Prototype Amber, which provides more than enough healing potential.
