InBreak the Loop, many characters are restricted to much further down the line when you complete certain in-game achievements. For this reason, it’s a good idea to prioritize any team planning around the core characters that you know will be there at the beginning of a playthrough, as well as a couple that can be unlocked in just a couple of quick runs. This way, you will be able to start getting used tostrategizing and the various combat elementswhile using a team that works for you, and then readjust or tweak as necessary as you unlock more characters.
Keeping this in mind, the best team combinations have been identified below, consisting ofcharacters that can be easily sourcedand set you up for the rest of your playthrough in theeldritch and zombie apocalypses.

This team excels at inflicting multiple debuffs and status effects to stack extra damage on enemies each turn, which can work quite well when they are maintained across multiple rounds.
This team has quite a hefty damage output through Ley and Elisen, with backup through Foxman’s ally buffs and Zoe’s debuffs on the enemy.

Albrecht can apply Blindness and Fragility, and Hellmut can inflict Bleeds, both of which Elisen and Ley can follow up on with burst damage and potential Burns.
Zoe can provide small bursts of healing and pinpoint targets for the rest of the team to focus through application of her poisons. Albrecht’s abilities can help keep her alive to keep doing so through Dodge and Armor, while Ley and Elisen follow up on poisoned damage with steady damage on one or multiple targets.
