The Alpha will contain several 6v6 maps and game modes for players to get their first taste of multiplayer. In addition, the new Combined Arms: Domination mode will be featured during the Alpha period through September 20, letting fans try the 12v12 experience. Players will also have access to the new “Create a Class” system, along with some of the new Scorestreaks. PlayStation 4 fans will be the first to experience thisnext-generationCall of Dutycombatat a global scale, and will no doubt be reporting their thoughts soon.

Fans will get to play the traditional Team Deathmatch, Kill Confirm, and Domination game modes with one notable exception, asBlack Ops Cold War’sversion of Dominationwill have a larger capture area than in previous titles, which should provide players more opportunities while defending or attacking a point.

The three game modes will take place across two main maps:Miami and Satellite. Miami has players in a beachside confrontation with neon lights, art-deco architecture, and various locations. From battles stretching across rooftops to empty streets and beachfront locals, fans will have to weave through shops in order to try and their flank enemies.

Black Ops Cold War’sSatelliteis a much different map, as it presents a battlefield without any man-made structures other than the satellite itself. Players will have to battle across rocky outcroppings and navigate different paths to find proper routes needed to gain the jump on the enemy. On the opposite side of the map are several natural sand dunes, which should give snipers a perfect area to set up for cross-map eliminations.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold Waris set to release on November 13th for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
