Call of Duty: Warzonegames lately have become more and more populated by cheaters, and some fans have testified that they have run into a blatant cheater every two or three matches that they play. WhileActivisionattempts to combat the growth of these unfair tactics in the franchise, it seems that one Twitch streamer has been taking advantage of them as well.
Many streamers have taken toCall of Duty: Warzoneas well. The game has attracted various entertainers who were previously known for playing other games, likeTfuewho used to be a professionalFortniteplayer. Many viewers tune into these streams to watch the gameplay and the streamers' skills, but it seems that one streamer’s skills were not as real as he advertised them to be.

OneTwitchstreamer by the screenname of MrGolds has been widely known for his ability to playWarzone. His streams boast an average of 2,000 live viewers, and MrGolds himself brags about his 6.0 Kills/Deaths ratio on a regular basis. However, one of his viewers noticed something odd on his August 24 stream and clipped it. Looking at the video, viewers can clearly see the cheat menu on his screen, with options such as “Aim at Enemies” visible on the stream. Despite this being clearly on screen, the Twitch streamer continues to boast about his skills, saying that he has “good recoil” and is just good at the game.
Other streamers spoke out against him, saying that this that EngineOwning, the cheating system that MrGolds was revealed using, is an obvious hack forCall of Duty: Warzone. One streamer by the name TGDefinition was particularly upset that MrGold hasn’t been banned from the game or Twitch, as TGDefinion has been banned and shadowbanned in the game and suspended from Twitch without cheating. Twitch has not punished MrGolds for cheating on stream, though many otherTwitch streamershave been been suspended for accidentally showing cheat menus on their streams. MrGolds is still able to playCall of Duty: Warzoneas well, and he is currently trying to prove his ability to his fans without cheating.
While MrGolds' “background camera streams” may attempt to prove that he is no longer cheating, streamers have been punished by their platform for less. The number ofCall of Dutycheatersis on the rise, and seeing popular streamers in theCall of Dutygetting away with it is going to send the wrong message to other players.
