Revealed during October’s Call of Duty: NEXT event,Urzikstanis the new Battle Royale map coming toWarzone. According to early-access testers, this fresh Drop Zone could be the long-awaited redemption, reviving the short-lived fun of the original map, Verdansk.
Although developers have remained secretive about this update’s exact date, they have announced that Urzikstan will hitWarzoneclosely afterModern Warfare’s global launch on November 10.

How Does Urzikstan Differ from Previous Maps?
The new map inWarzonehas a Soviet-esque design and benefits frommovement-enabling features. Some examples are horizontal zip lines, accessible vehicles, and denser city structures offering faster navigation.
In this new Drop Zone, players can control the train, access an underground secret area, and fight inclassic 1v1 Gulag matcheswithout juggernauts.

What Are the New Points of Interest in the Urzikstan Map?
Boasting 11 POIs,Warzone’s new map, Urzikstan, is one of the largest. The Drop Zone features Zaravan City, Sorokin Industries, Popov Power, Shahin Manor, Low Town, Old Town, Orlov Military Base, Quadri Shopping Center, and Urzikstan Cargo.
Some of thesePoints of Interest have appeared in previous CoDgames—namely the Orlov Military Base, which is the Countdown map fromCall of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.
