Team management is the name of the game inGenshin Impact. From creating elemental reactions to team roles to even height differences, everything must be taken into account. That said, there exists onecharacter in the worldof Teyvat that operates completely differently compared to other characters.

Childe, aka Tartaglia, represents the Fatui in the Liyue-arc ofGenshin Impact’sstory. As a war-hungry warrior, Tartaglia fights with a grand mix of Hydro-infused melee and ranged attacks. This mix makes the Fatui Harbinger one of the most versatile fighters and one of the hardest to pair, but some characters make better teammates than others.
Updated on November 29th, 2022, by Nahda Nabiilah:Tartaglia surprisingly has one of the most banners in Genshin Impact so far. Apart from his initial release in version 1.1, up until Genshin Impact 3.2, Childe has had three re-runs, meaning he has four banners in total. Meanwhile, in version 3.3, his Harbinger comrade, Scaramouche, will be released. With the ever-increasing list of playable characters in the game, naturally, there are now more characters that are suitable to be paired with Childe in his Genshin Impact team comp. This list has been updated to include them.

19Kazuha
Kaedehara Kazuha is an amazing pair with Childe. He’s usually paired with the Harbinger in an international team with Xiangling and Bennett. The term “international” comes from the fact that each character in this comp comes from a different region, with Childe from Snezhnaya, Kazuha from Inazuma, Xiangling from Liyue, and Bennett from Mondstadt.
The idea here is that Bennett and Xiangling will enable Pyro, Kazuha collects the enemies, and Childe enjoys his massive AoE thanks to the provided crowd control.

18Bennett
Bennett is one of the best supports inGenshin Impact, and he fits in almost every team comp. He easily provides ATK buff, healing, cleansing, and he can even work as aGenshin ImpactBattery. The combination of Childe, Kazuha, Bennett, and Mona is often used to create a large number from Tartaglia’s elemental burst.

Of course, asGenshin Impactgrows, there are now many units that can deal big numbers. Nevertheless, this old meta will always be memorable.
17Yelan
Both Yelan and Xingqiu are excellent with Childe, but thanks to theHydro Resonance change inGenshin Impact3.0, Yelan becomes far better in a double Hydro team. Since Yelan purely scales with HP, having a second Hydro in her team will enhance her HP by a whopping 25%.
Since Childe’s melee hits are considered normal attacks, he can trigger both Yelan’s and Xingqiu’s elemental burst, increasing the team’s DPS with their priceless sub-DPS hits.

16Nahida
The Dendro Archon is easily one of the best supports and sub-DPS inGenshin Impact. Her elemental skill can continuously deal Dendro damage effortlessly, and her elemental burst can grant a large elemental mastery boost to the active character.
Nahida and Childe will create the bloomDendro reaction inGenshin Impact. After that, players can use an Electro or Pyro characters to trigger hyperbloom and burgeon, respectively. Alternatively, people can use Nilou and Yelan for a Hydro + Dendro team and enjoys the massive damage provided by Nilou’s Bountiful Cores.

15Lisa
ManyGenshin Impactfans don’t considerfree characters for their teams. These characters tend to be regarded as too underwhelming for consideration, however, Lisa is very useful when paired with Tartaglia.
Most specifically, Lisa’s elemental burst creates an area of effect that applies Electro damage to opponents. Coupled with Childe’s melee stance, this combination can be a heavy source of electro-charged DPS.

14Sayu
Inazuma’s tiny ninja from the Shuumatsuban, Sayu makes for a good pair with Tartaglia. Every good DPS needs a healer of some kind, and for Childe, an offense-centric healer works incredibly well.

For Sayu, she offers an elemental burst which both heals and attacks with Anemo damage. In the end, this means that Sayu can heal Tartagliaand act as a good source of swirl reactions.
13Ganyu
It may seem strange to use two DPS characters in a team. But in the case of Ganyu, Tartaglia can work very amicably. Sometimes, two DPS characters inGenshin Impactcan have talents that work off of each other.
For starters, Tartaglia can act as an enabler at times for fairly simple frozen reactions. However, the real meat of this pairing comes from Ganyu’s elemental burst, which creates an area of effect that showers down ice crystals on opponents. Entering melee stance, Childe can decimate opponents while freezing them in the process.

12Yoimiya
Another character released with Inazuma, Yoimiya has perhaps the most unique playstyle amongGenshin Impact’sbow-users. Her elemental skill turns her normal shots into flaming arrows.
However, when it comes to being paired with Tartaglia, Yoimiya’s elemental burst is where she really shines. After she marks one opponent (at a time), another character hitting said target will cause Pyro damage as well. This can make for easy vaporized damage, heavily elevating Tartaglia’s DPS.

11Zhongli
Tartaglia and Zhongli interacted a lot during the Liyue arc inGenshin Impact’sstory. However, while they may not be on the best of terms now, they offer mutual benefits when paired together.
RELATED:Genshin Impact: Mistakes Players Make When Using Zhongli
Quite simply, Zhongli has the best shielding in the game. By offering constant shielding, either through Zhongli’s Jade Shield or crystallize reactions, players can focus entirely on attacking.
10Qiqi
When icy Cryo meets Hydro, it makes for a frozen reaction. However, what happens when anexcellent Cryo healermeets a war-hardened Hydro fighter. Qiqi and Tartaglia make an excellent team, with Qiqi’s automated Cryo healing abilities blending easily with Tartaglia’s constant melee.
Players often underestimate thestrength of a good healer. When fighting close up and personal, especially against harder opponents like the Ruin Hunter, Tartaglia takes a lot of damage. Qiqi counteracts this with her elemental skill, summoning a Herald of Frost to both heal and inflict Cryo damage.
