Coca-Cola has sought to reveal to the world what exactly a pixel tastes like with its latest release in its Creations line. Unfortunately, everyone will have to wait for a taste as it will be gamers’Fortniteavatars that will get to try it first.

Coca-Cola has announced the latest in its line of Creations soft drinks, an 80s arcade-inspired beverage called Coca-Cola Zero Sugar Byte “Pixel-Flavored” which Coke calls “An 8-Bit Pixel experience.” The soft drink launch is accompanied by a code for Coca-Cola Zero Sugar Byte Island created inFortniteand will appear in the game before its released in the real world.

The new Coca-Cola soft drink has been created in collaboration with gaming and lifestyle organization PWR and will be introduced firstin the metaverse ofFortnite. The real-life counterpart and physically consumable version will be released in limited quantities from July 06, 2025, and will be purchasable through the Coca-Cola Creations website.

The digital version of Byte will come first to an “individually createdFortniteCreativeexperience” named Pixel Point. The in-game island created by PWR features four multiplayer mini-games named The Castle, The Escape, The Race, and The Tower. One of these games even takes place inside a classic glass Coke bottle. Players can play on the Pixel Point map now by entering thisFortniteCreativecode: 8565-0287-3178.

These mini-games will only be available for a limited time. Additionally, there will be an augmented reality game that can be accessed via the Coca-Cola Creations website that will feature a leader board to compare completion times on social media. It should be noted that Pixel Point and the promotion of Byte have no official connection toFortniteor developer Epic Games.

Coca-Cola Zero Sugar Byte Pixel-Flavored joins the previously released flavor Starlight which was promoted with the help of the singer and songwriter Ava Max. Byte will be sold in 12-ounce cans in packs of two, one for consumption and the other for collecting. Coca-Cola plans to release more limited-edition Creations throughout the year.
