Call of Duty: Vanguard’s Type 11
Call of Duty: Vanguard’sType 11 is a light machine gun with a bit more of an emphasis on the word light. It has the highest speed stat of all the LMGs, offering players a lot more maneuverability while in-game. This makes it a pretty good choice for the more activeCall of Dutyplayers out there who would ordinarily opt for something more along the lines ofCall of Duty: Vanguard’sStG 44. Its reductions in firepower and accuracy in comparison to other LMGs, however, may turn the average heavy weapon user away from the Type 11. This may mean that users of the Type 11 will be more interested in enhancing the weapon’s more assault rifle-like attributes than crafting it into something more along the lines of what can be expected from an LMG.
The Type 11 is one of the few weapons inCall of Duty: Vanguardthat isn’t a returning gun from previousgames likeCall of Duty: World at War. Other weapons such as the MP-40 or StG 44 may have an advantage over the Type 11 when it comes to vying for fans' favor, as the nostalgia factor gives them a leg up. Still, despite being a bit more of an unknown quantity when compared to the other two weapons, the Type 11 can be one of the better weapons in the game if players put some thought and care into their attachment selections. The Type 11 has a few unique stats that make it stand out from the competition, but to really be any players’ go-to gun, they need to be built upon.

Best Attachments for Call of Duty: Vanguard’s Type 11
By visitingCall of Duty: Vanguard’sgunsmith, players can almost completely change the appearance and feel of any weapon in the game. Whether turning a marksman rifle into a sniper rifle or making the Double Barrel Shotgun unbeatable on maps like Dome, the gunsmith offers flexibility to the player. In the case of the Type 11, it may be best to make the weapon fall more in line with what is on offer fromCall of Duty: Vanguard’sassault rifles, improving its general movement speed. The Type 11 can be one of the best weapons inVanguardif some thought is put into its attachments.
For starters, players will want to unlock and equip Shigenori, who has the Type 11 as his favorite weapon. This is important, asCall of Duty: Vanguard’soperatorsoffer XP boosts while using their favorite weapon, which will make unlocking attachments a lot easier. As for attachments, the Sakura 261MM, Fabric Grip, and SMLE Pistol Grip will help to make the Type 11 better as a run and gun type weapon, improving general mobility and sprint to fire speed. The Fleet proficiency can also help by improving movement speed, which should reduce the sluggish aspect of carrying around an LMG. These four attachments should make the Type 11 a lot more like a standard assault rifle, while a stock may also help, albeit with major reductions in terms of accuracy.
Call of Duty: Vanguardis available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
