In a new post on the r/ModernWarfareII subreddit, user Neon_Moons shared a clip of an unexpectedly creepy encounter they caught on camera inCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 2’s Taraq level. In the short clip, which viewers should be warned includes a fair amount of foul language, Neon_Moons is walking towards a ruined building on the Taraq map when they spot what appear to be hands hanging down over a doorway. As they step into the building the eerie shape moves further down the doorway, eventually revealing what looks like a charred body drooping down from the floor above. Turning around for a closer look, the video reveals only a ruined roof where the figure had been only seconds before.
Some fans responding to the creepy clip were left slightly shaken, with users positing theories as to what could have caused the unexpected encounter. Seeking a logical explanation for the unsettling figure, one commenter posited that it might have been a ragdoll from a recently killed player that despawned as Neon_Moons was turning around. Some Redditors wondered if the eerie appearance represented a previously undiscoveredEaster egg inModern Warfare 2, albeit one with a decidedly supernatural theme.
