Cyberpunk 2077will release in less than a month for multiple platforms, barringan unlikely fourth delay. Giving credence to the game actually making its December 10 release date are photos of sealed copies in the wild that have surfaced online.

The game has already gone gold, meaning that the retail copies of a game are ready to be printed and then shipped to retailers. The fact that the game was delayed afterthe announcement ofCyberpunk 2077going goldsimply means that retailers have to sit on the physical copies of the game for weeks before shipping them out for the new release date. Apparently, this means that sealed copies of the game are now out in the world, earlier than games normally are before their release dates.

Reddit user Justgonnasendit90 posted a picture of a sealed PS4 copy of the game with the caption “We’re almost there boys. I actually had the game in my hands.” Justgonnasendit90 revealed that they work at Amazon and saw copies of the game in the warehouse, deciding to snap a few pictures. The excitement felt by fellow Redditors was clearly palpable, with the post garnering nearly 5,000 upvotes and a litany of Reddit Rewards.

Many asked them questions about the game’s weight, and otherCyberpunk-related materials like collector’s editions, but all Justgonnasendit90 had to offer was a few pictures and insights into the standard version of the game. They noted that the standard version felt quite hefty, likely due to the plethora of contents, including a world compendium, a map, stickers, postcards, and thetwo discs needed to installCyberpunk 2077.

The game also has a sticker on it advertisingCyberpunk 2077’sfree next-gen upgradefrom the PS4 to the PS5 version, a sticker which will almost certainly be on the Xbox One version of the game as well for a Series S and X upgrade.

Though the game hasn’t even released yet, there are two deals currently available for pre-ordering it. Amazon is currently sellingpre-orders forCyberpunk 2077 at$49.99instead of the customary $59.99 for a video game. But Target has a better price, assuming one is also shopping for other games this holiday season. Target’s current buy 2 get 1 free deal includes almost every major title releasing this fall, includingCall of Duty Black Ops Cold War,Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, andCyberpunk 2077.As long as someone wants three games from Target’s promotion, that evens out to roughly $39.99 per game instead of Amazon’s $49.99.

Cyberpunk 2077is out June 18, 2025, for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One, with a free next-gen upgrade planned for the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
