Over the decades, those who play video games have become progressively more diverse. No matter the age, gender, or generation, all sorts of people across all walks of life play video games, and this is especially the case with online games. Within the community of online games, it is important for players to feel welcome and to feel like they can be themselves.
Many developers have worked to support the LGBTQ+ community, especially during Pride Month. Among these developers, companies like Bungie go the extra mile by including in-game cosmetics intoDestiny 2that players can use to show off their pride. This year, Bungieadded a new emotecalled Rainbow Connection, and here is how players can get it.

How to Get the Rainbow Connection Emote
In order to get this special Pride Month emote,Destiny 2players will have to go out of game and head to Bungie’s website. On June 14th, Bungie posted a news storytalking about Pride Monthalong with their efforts to support the LGBTQ+ community. They also included a code that players can redeem to obtain the Rainbow Connection emote. This code can be used by anybody, and it does not expire, just like withother special community event codes.
The code that unlocks Rainbow Connection is TK7-D3P-FDF.This code cannot be used inDestiny 2, so players will have to redeem it on Bungie’s website. After logging in, navigate to the drop-down menu on the right and select ‘Redeem Codes’.

After clicking that, players will be sent to the code redemption page. Enter the code into the box as depicted in the image above. If players enter it correctly, they will see a message saying that the redemption was successful. If there are any other codes that players want to redeem, they can click the ‘Redeem Another Code’ button below.
Where to Find the Rainbow Connection Emote
Once the code has been redeemed, players can go back intoDestiny 2. The emote will not be automatically added to their collection. to use the Rainbow Connection emote,Destiny 2players should head to the Tower and speak with Rahool. At the start of Year 6 inDestiny 2, Rahool now handles all promotion related rewards and claiming them. This also includes Prime Gaming rewards, pre-order bonuses, and special events like the Rainbow Connection emote. If playershave any Prime Engramsto decrypt, they will need to deal with that first or dismiss that menu.
After claiming the Rainbow Connection emote, players must equip it in one of the four emote slots to use it. The Rainbow Connection emote is a single player emote where the Guardian conjures a rainbow above them.
