What Twisted Energy Is
Twisted Energy isDestiny 2’s seasonal currency for Season of Arrivals. Players will want to farm as much Twisted Energy as they can to level up their Prismatic Recaster to maximum level to unlock and further control the outcome of their loot drops through Umbral Engrams.
What Twisted Energy Does
Twisted Energy is used directly with the Prismatic Recaster located in the Tower next to the Drifter. After farming Twisted Energy, players turn it in at the Prismatic Recaster, which in turn levels it up, which then allows players to enhance their Prismatic Recaster to allow them to get more control and benefits for earning gear. Similar to last season, each rank up allows players to select a bonus such as earning an extra daily Umbral Engram for completing certain activities, unlocking different levels ofUmbral Engram focusing, and more. It takes 500 Twisted Energy to rank up one level.
How to Get Twisted Energy
The primary recurring source of Twisted Energy is by completing the weekly bounties from the Prismatic Recaster. Each weekly bounty awards 500 Twisted Energy. A total of 1,500 Twisted Energy can also be found on the season pass, so as players progress through it they will unlock some more. Players will start off with 500 Twisted Energy after completing the introductory quest for the season.
The typical farming methods exist for Twisted Energy, such as running multiple characters through the introductory seasonal quest (even deleting and making new characters to continuously run through the quest) and running the weekly bounties across three characters are the fastest ways to earn Twisted Energy. In turn, players will be able to do even more with theirUmbral Engramsand ultimately the gear they earn.
