As some players are having difficulty locating specificDestiny 2elemental mods, some fans have an idea for a helpful quality-of-life feature that may benefit everyone playing the Bungie FPS. Due to its live service nature,Destiny 2content is regularly adjusted, and elemental mods may improve with this fan-requested feature.

Since they were introduced inDestiny 2Season of the Chosen, Guardians have been able to adjust their build options by buying elemental mods from Ada-1 at the Tower. TheseDestiny 2elemental mods can be used in numerous ways to build around explosive damage, the Arc, Solar, and Void subclasses, and damage boosts. Because of the plethora of elemental mods available, someDestiny 2fans are looking for ways that Bungie can streamline the experience.

Reddit user Laker-prime has garnered over 500 upvotes on a post suggesting that Bungie add color to elemental mods with a futureDestiny 2update to make navigating through them simpler. As many of the existing elemental mods revolve around theDestiny 2subclasses, the colors used to reflect their mods could match the subclass color. Although most of the replies to Laker-prime expressed words of encouragement or told stories of frustration, the developer may not be looking to make such changes to the elemental well.

Given how long theDestiny 2elemental wellhas been a feature, it’s likely that many players have chosen the wrong mod as others have stated due to the lack of distinction between the listed options. Though the text describing the elemental mods is usually sufficient enough for making a decision for aDestiny 2well, the lack of a visible difference has seemingly caused confusion for the community. Beyond having ideas for the elemental well mods themselves, oneDestiny 2fan also recommended adjusting the Armor orb color to something more unique.

Whenthe firstDestinywas released back in 2014, much of the game’s loot was color-coordinated so that players could easily tell which items were upgrades and which were just worth scrapping. Because so much ofDestiny 2already revolves around using colors to identify things in this manner, Laker-prime and similar fans may have the ideal solution to the problem some players are having with elemental mods.

Destiny 2is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
