Destiny 2’s 30th Anniversary Pack isn’t even one week old and players are already enthusiastic about its contents. What the DLC offers are two new activities, with the first being Dares of Eternity and the second being the Grasp of Avarice Dungeon, and a lot of very powerful and unique loot that celebrates Bungie’s past releases, like all the Halo-themed weapons. TheGrasp of Avarice Dungeon offers greatDestiny 2loot in the form of Artifice Armor, which is especially good for making builds around an extra mod slot exclusive to artifact mods.
However, what makes the 30th Anniversary Pack such a breath of fresh air is the fact that itsDares of Eternity is one ofDestiny 2’s best activities since Menagerie. What makes Dares of Eternity so special is that there is a lot of enemy density for players to enjoy the activity with their favorite weapons, and it is also extremely rewarding thanks to the final drops, the Treasure Keys, and the Strange Coins. It doesn’t hurt that Dares of Eternity is also very fun, thanks to Xur and Starhorse acting as game show hosts, delivering hilarious lines.

A Reddit user by the name of Random-recon shared a post stating that Dares of Eternity should be the new standard for rewards inDestiny 2activities, which goes to show just how much of an impact this made on the community. The user made a point about all the things that players can get just by playing, which include all the non-Dungeon weapons, theForerunner Exotic sidearm, cosmetic items that range from universal ornaments to Bungie’s weirdest ship yet, and even more stuff locked behind triumphs.
Many players agreed, and the post gained a lot of traction on the platform, reaching over 4,000 upvotes, showing that there is a general consensus about Dares of Eternity being the most rewarding piece of content in the game right now. SomeDestiny 2players still recall Menagerie’s incredible loot, but it should also be noted that Menagerie was bugged for a very long time, and once it was fixed and its drops reduced, the community quickly fell out of love with it.
To top it off,Destiny 2’s 30th Anniversary Pack includes hilarious boss namesthat make the experience even more fun, as well as plenty of traps and obstacle runs to make every fall or death all the more spectacular. It’s no wonder that players are loving Dares of Eternity so much, and it should indeed become the new benchmark for the game’s activities moving forward.
Destiny 2is now available on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
