With the reveal of The Final Shape, Bungie also made it available to pre-order with multiple versions on offer including Standard, Final Shape +Annual Pass Bundle, and an extensive Collector’s Edition. For those who opt for the Bundle, they’ll instantly unlock the Tessellation Exotic Fusion Rifle for use inDestiny 2, as well as its catalyst and an ornament later. One of the biggest elements to Tessellation is that it can adapt and change to the player’s equipped damage type which includes Strand as well as the core four for the energy weapon slot. In addition, players can special reload their grenade to empower the weapon with a single, yet highly damaging shot.

In addition to early access to the Tessellation Exotic Fusion Rifle, the bundle includes the full Final Shape expansion, a dungeon key for immediate access to the included activity, an exotic sparrow, and a trio of secret stash bundles that will total 2 ascendant alloys, 3 ascendant shards, 1 exotic cipher, and an exotic accessory.Destiny 2players will also get access to all three Episodesthat will continue the experience even after the Light and Darkness Saga comes to an end in The Final Shape.

Theexotic weapon unlock follows a similar pattern to the Lightfall expansion, where players could unlock the Quicksilver Storm auto rifle. The weapon wouldn’t reach its full potential until players unlocked its catalyst after the launch of Lightfall, but it has quickly become a fan favorite thanks to its strand infusion and the ability to fire microrockets alongside traditional bullets.

Destiny 2is now available PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
