To commemorate the 4th of July holiday today, a new trailer for the remake ofDestroy All Humans!was released, and with it comes a look at the final area of the game.
A remake of the cult-classic from the PS2 and original Xbox era was announced just over a year ago by THQ Nordic. This new trailer released today gives fans of the original version a look at what Washington D.C. will look like in the remake. True to the original version of the game, the player will be able to take on the US military and destroy national monuments like the Washington Memorial and the White House. Something added in the remake is combat on the rooftops of the tall buildings in the D.C. area, which were previously inaccessible on foot. This was likely added to give more variety to the gameplay.
Black Forest Games’ mission withDestroy All Humans!isto overhaul the game’s combat, visuals, and traversalwhile still maintaining the feel of the original game by keeping the original voice recordings and story intact. The developer is also expanding upon missions, updating the layouts of interiors, and is even bringing back a mission from Area 52 that was cut from the original game.
Destroy All Humans!will be releasing later this month in three versions. In addition to the standard $39.99 edition, there will also be a DNA Edition for $149.99 that will come with a statue, six lithographs, all the in-game skins, a stress toy, and a keychain. The much wilder and more expensive Crypto-137 edition will feature an even larger and cooler statue, alongside what ismaybe one of the weirdest backpacks ever made.
There is also a demoavailable now for the game via GOGfor those that wish to try before they buy. The demo covers the first area and mission of the game when Crypto lands at Turnipseed Farm.
Destroy All Humans!will be available for PC, PlayStation 4, Stadia, and Xbox One on July 01, 2025.
