Diablois rich with characters that have detailed backstories, whether they play a significant part in the actual game, or not. While there are many formidable bosses inDiablo, some of which provide epic battles for players who encounter them, there are those that are slightly more obscure.

Throughout theDiabloseries, players will come across bosses that mightput up a good fightbut are weak or easily defeated in the game’s extensive lore.Diablolore is very descriptive regarding the fates of these bosses; according to the lore, these are the weakest of the multitude of bosses in the games.
10The Defiler
Although powerful in the past, The Defiler, along with its minions, was slain by the hero of Tristram before being able to do much harm to the townsfolk. The Defiler is an ancient bug-like creature that rules over an insect colony called the Festering Nest, and its lair’s entrance was found by the hero while exploring Tristram.
Players will encounter The Defiler as one of the final bosses intheHellfireexpansionfor the firstDiablogame and slaying this monster opens the entrance to the Demon Crypts.

9Na-Krul
Na-Krul is a resident of the Demon Crypts and another boss fromDiablo: Hellfire.Although putting up a good fight in the game, in terms of lore, Na-Krul is rather weak. Diablo banished Na-Krul to the Void, and once freed by a powerful mage, Na-Krul was kept within walls by the mage’s arcane magic.
Although Na-Krul had grand ambitions of ruling over the Burning Hells, he too was defeated once the hero entered the Demon Crypts and so was never able to rise in the ranks.

8The Acolyte Of Damnation
This boss might have an impressive title, but he was simply a member of the Cult of Damnation. Not so weak is the Lord of Damnation, to whom the Acolyte of Damnation and his fellow cultists brought people from Wortham as sacrifices in the Vile Refuge.
The Acolyte was defeated and one survivor was saved when a hero entered the Vile Refuge and confronted the Cult. The Acolyte of Damnation is a unique Damned Summoner boss and is encountered at thebeginning ofDiablo: Immortalin the Vile Refuge.

7Agronix
Agronix isa demonthat was summoned by a monk named Dravec. In an attempt to find the Worldstone shard so that he may resurrect his younger brother, who died at the fall of Arreat, Dravec summoned Agronix.

This fire-spewing demon was summoned to attack the Sanctified Earth Monastery in order for Dravec to escape with the Worldstone shard and give it to Skarn, who promised to resurrect his brother if he has the shard. Dravec’s plan ultimately failed, however, as Agronix was slain by the hero ofDiablo Immortal, the Shard Seeker.
6Baron Of Pestilence
Thepowerful demon, Skarn, had not only Dravec as his servant but various other demons as well. The Baron of Pestilence is another of Skarn’s minions. This demon’s mission was to watch over the angel, Verathiel, who became his prisoner after fighting many demons over the ages.
As with many other demons, the Baron was also slain by a group of heroes in their attempt to free Verathiel. Players will encounter the Baron of Pestilence as the final boss for the Pestilent Corpse mission inDiablo Immortal.

5Bloodsworn Priestess Innaloth
One of the followers ofthe powerful Countessand a member of the Bloodsworn cult, Priestess Innaloth is the first boss players will encounter in the Forgotten Tower Dungeon inDiablo Immortal.
The Bloodsworn Priestess Innaloth resides in the Forgotten Tower, which was once the home of The Countess, where she and other followers of the cult drained the blood of innocent townsfolk as a sacrifice to The Countess. Once discovered by a group of heroes, she and her fellow cult members were slain.

4Elder Owen
Elder Owen was a villager of Bilefen that suffered an unfortunate fate. At some point, the village was plagued by a Maggot Brood that killed off most of the population. Thanks to the Temple of Namari, Elder Owen managed to survive the plague but remained poisoned, with Corpse Worms eating him from the inside.
Owen ends up eating the flesh of his fellow villagers, as meat is the only thing that takes his pain away. When encountered by a hero inDiablo Immortal, Owen was slain and relieved from his suffering.

3Woodruh
Also known as The Forsaken Warden, Woodruh is a boss encountered inDiablo Immortalin the “Bound for Eternity” quest. Woodruh was once a prison warden in Stormpoint Keep but slowly transformed into a monster after discovering a shard of the Worldstone in The Deepstrider Lair beneath his office and taking it with him.

Woodruh befriended a sea creature that mutated into a behemoth after being exposed to the Worldstone and met an untimely death at the hands of the sea creature, which was also later slain by the Shard-Seeker.
2Manoruk
The mage, Manoruk, was once a member of the mighty King Leoric’s court, the ruler of Khanduras. After becoming corrupted by Diablo, during the Darkening of Tristram, King Leoric went on a rampage and killed many innocent people, Manoruk being one of the first to be murdered by the mad king.
Manoruk was later resurrected, but once again slain by the hero. Players can encounter Manoruk as the second boss in the Mad King’s Breach dungeon inDiablo Immortal.

1Ventar The Unholy
Ventar the Unholy was, like Manoruk, slain not once, but twice. As aservant of Baal, Ventar the Unholy was among those slain while protecting his master during Baal’s assault on Mount Arreat. This demon is later accidentally resurrected by the hero from the Worldstone shards but killed again for a second time.
Ventar the Unholy appears inDiablo 2andinDiablo Immortal.Players will encounter him as a boss in the “Fragments of the Past” quest inDiablo Immortal.
