Just like with many characters inDisney Dreamlight Valley, EVE is introduced to players via story quests. After completingThe Flying Metal Nuisanceand claiming the Royal Hourglass, players will find EVE struggling without a directive to follow. She discovered that Eternity Isle is safe for the most part during Directive: Danger, and without a directive to replace that, she feels lost.
Fortunately,Disney Dreamlight Valleyplayers are there to help her out. Not only will players assist EVE in establishing a new directive, but they will also assist in a long-overdue reunion. So here’s how to complete A New Directive.
Feed Two Monkeys
After talking to EVE and starting this quest, the first step is togo feed two monkeys. While the logical choice would be to feed them bananas, that is not their favorite food. For some odd reason, the monkeys that are indigenous to Eternity Isle have refined tastes and will only accept five-star meals.
Monkeys can be found in The Ruins, The Courtyard, The Overlook, and The Dock. In order to feed a monkey, players must chase it around until they see the button prompt to interact with it. Feed it a five-star meal. Players will need to feed two separate monkeys and not the same one twice. After this is done, return to EVE and talk to her.
Follow EVE into The Overlook
Follow EVE, and she will eventually stop at the entrance to the Overlook. If players have not unlocked this area, EVE will not be able to go any further.In order to unlock The Overlook, players must gather 6,000 Mist fromcompleting various dutiesaround Eternity Isle.Once the Overlook is unlocked, follow EVE until she stops, and then talk to her again.
After talking to EVE, leave the Overlook to update the quest. For the next step, players will need to use the Royal Hourglass to find both the BnL Picnic Blanket and the BnL Trashcan Planter. Both of these items can be found in Ancients Landing by using the Royal Hourglass to clear the small swirling sands around the biome. Once both items have been found, the quest will update. The next step is to gather the following:
Birds of Paradise are flowers that can be found in Ancient’s Landing. The Red Luminescent Flowers can be found in the same biome. Jade can be found by mining in The Courtyard and The Overlook. After gathering all of these items, go talk to EVE again.
EVE and WALL-E Reunite
With everything ready, EVE is ready to gofind WALL-E. Follow her and witness the reunion between the two robots. The final step of this quest is to return to the garden and take pictures of the two robots together. Players do not need to save the pictures to their device, and simply taking the pictures is enough to progress the quest. Talking to EVE one last time completes the quest.
