Disney Dreamlight Valley’s first expansion,A Rift in Time, introduces the expansive Eternity Isle, a new region with three biomes rich in resources and opportunities for new friendships. This Isle maintains many familiar features from the Valley, with gameplay largely unchanged. Players continue to use Royal Tools for activities like Fishing, Gardening, and Mining. A notable addition is theRoyal Hourglass, a tool that unveils hidden treasures through Timebending, revealing items lost in time.
In Eternity Isle, alongside theseTimebending treasures, players will find hidden memories, including a handful of additional pages of the Old Ruler’s Lost Diaries. There are nine new diaries to discover, each offering insights into the early days of Eternity Isle. Players will also come across unique journal pages written by Gaston, the exuberant character fromBeauty and the Beast, who has found himself stranded in the Isle’s Glittering Dunes biome.

Through his quests, players learn that Gaston’s time on Eternity Isle has been challenging for him—though he’ll never admit it. His journal entries, however, offer humorous insights into his life stranded in the Dunes prior to the player’s arrival. This guide details the locations of all Gaston’s Journal entries inDisney Dreamlight Valley: A Rift in Time.
Where to Find All Gaston’s Journal Memories
There are17 unique pages of Gaston’s Journalfor players to recover on Eternity Isle. Every one of the pages can be foundin the Glittering Dunes biome, where he has been trapped for some time. These journal entries are discovered as sparkling pages on the ground, though not all of them are easy to access.
On Eternity Isle, each of its three biomes is separated into individual areas that the player must unlock by spending Mist, Eternity Isle’s version of the Dreamlight currency. Gaston’s Journals are littered across all four areas of the Glittering Dunes, requiring the player to unlock these areas to retrieve the pages.
