It’s been nearly a year sinceDisney Dreamlight Valleypromised its players that they would receive a free Walt & Mickey Partners Statue, but it seems the item has been forgotten as it remains undelivered.Disney Dreamlight Valleyis a life simulator that allows gamers to live among their favorite Disney and Pixar characters. They can build wholesome friendships, farm and fish to their heart’s content, cook all sorts of diverse meals, and freely decorate their valleys as well as the inside of their homes.
When it comes to furniture, players can craft their own, make fully customized items using theupgraded version of the Touch of Magic tool, buy it from Scrooge’s Store and the Premium Shop, or even get it as a reward for completing the Star Path and certain challenges. The Premium Shop seems to have the most elaborate furniture items, but they cost quite a lot of Moonstones. This is why players were particularly excited when they found that they would receive the Walt & Mickey Partners Statue for free for completing a community challenge back in 2022.

Players were given severalcommunity challenge milestones, and each quest would grant a free reward once completed. The Walt & Mickey Partners Statue challenge would be handed out onceDisney Dreamlight Valleyreached 35,000 followers on Instagram or Twitter. Fans achieved this goal in August 2022, and even thoughDisney Dreamlight Valleyacknowledge this feat once again in October and promised players that everyone would receive the item as soon as it was completed, it never happened. While many gamers have accepted that they won’t ever see this item in their in-game mailbox, others are hopeful that it will be given to the community once the game celebrates its first anniversary in September.
It’s definitely odd that this item hasn’t been awarded to players as promised. Players are particularly disappointed because it appears that the game is constantly creating new items and releasing them in thePremium Shop.
Premium Shop items are a priority since it incentivizes players to purchase Moonstones, and a free item won’t bring any profit. This is not the first or second time that fans showeddiscontent withDisney Dreamlight Valley’s monetization. Moonstones prices are still incredibly high, and Dream Bundles and Premium Shop items are as well.
