The latest free update forDisney Dreamlight Valley,The Pumpkin King Returns, introduces a new seasonal Star Path event. Similar to “battle pass” features in other games, this event allows players to unlock exclusive rewards by completing various in-game tasks. These tasks earn players a special event currency, which they can use to purchase the event’s unique rewards.
TheRoyal Winter Star Pathevent is themed around festive winter holidays, offering rewards including a frosty new raccoon companion, holiday-themed furniture, motifs, and more. Additionally, it brings two newDream Style character skinsfeaturing winter outfits for popular Valley residents, Belle and Ariel.
How to Unlock and Participate in the Royal Winter Star Path Event
InDisney Dreamlight Valley’s Royal Winter Star Path, players can work their way through a variety of duties involving completing assorted tasks around the Valley. To check out thetasks in this Star Path,click on the “Event” tabin the in-game menu.
Many Star Path tasks can be completed in the game’s new Eternity Isle region, accessible only after purchasing theA Rift in TimeDLC. However, theexpansion is not requiredfor completing the Royal Winter Star Path; all tasks can be achieved within the base game’s Valley region.
How to Complete All Royal Winter Star Path Tasks
InDisney Dreamlight Valley, each Star Path event presents players with aseries of rewards across six pages, or seven for those who opt for the Premium Star Path. These rewards can be unlocked using a unique currency obtained from event-specific tasks. As playerscomplete these tasks, new ones become available, ensuring a continuous flow of activities and opportunities for rewards.
The standard Star Path, free for all players, allows access to three tasks at any given time. However, for those who upgrade to the Premium Star Path, the number of accessible tasks doubles to six, providing more options and flexibility in task selection. This feature is particularly useful for players who might find themselves stuck on one of the standard tasks, as it allows them to switch focus and progress in other areas.
Opting for the Premium Star Path, which costs2500 Moonstones,Dreamlight Valley’s in-game premium currency, not only increases the number of tasks available but also unlocks anadditional 26 exclusive rewards. These Premium rewards are often more sought-after and include items such as anew companion pet, special Dream Styles, and unique themed furniture.
Ariel’s holiday-themed Dream Style is available for free to all players through the regular Star Path. However, to obtain Belle’s Dream Style, players must purchase the Premium Star Path using Moonstones,Disney Dreamlight Valley’s real-money currency, which also grants access to extra rewards.

All Royal WinterStar Path Rewards
The Royal Winter Star Path features a festive assortment of exclusive items, including new furniture, motifs used todesign furniture and clothes, cozy winter clothing, and more. Strangely, the rewards in this Star Path appear to be less heavily inspired by Disney films than previous event offerings.
Instead, many items in this event feature minimalist Disney designs, offered as unlockable motifs and patterned on the event’s clothing. Despite this focus, players still have access to a variety of exciting items, including equippable fairy wings and a large ice rink for outdoor decoration.
For those who opt for the Premium Star Path, all items in each tier can be unlocked using the event currency. In contrast, players on the standard Star Path will see a lock icon on items exclusive to the Premium option.
