Disney Dreamlight Valleyplayers can use Rope to craft a ton of other items in the game, but Rope itself can only be obtained by crafting as well. Players will need to know how to craft rope, where to get the ingredients for rope, and what kinds of things it can be used to craft if they want to get the most out of the item. Rope is considered aRefined Material like Glass inDreamlight Valleysince it is obtained via crafting but doesn’t have any uses of its own (outside of using it for more crafting).
Rope has been available inDisney Dreamlight Valleysince day one of early access, but with the sheer number of recipes in the game, players would be forgiven for forgetting how to make this one. Thankfully, it’s a fairly simple endeavor, and players shouldn’t have any issues stocking up on a ton of Rope to fulfill their crafting needs.

Disney Dreamlight Valley - How to Craft Rope
Rope only has one ingredient, and that’s Fiber. Fiber is another Refined Material, as it is created via crafting as well by following this recipe:
to make one rope, players will need to gather up eight Fiber, head to a crafting table, and then navigate over to the Refined Material menu and make it. For those wondering how to get more Fiber, it can be made on the same menu by spending one Seaweed. Each Seaweed makes five Fiber, so basically players will need tofind about two ofDreamlight Valley’s Seaweedper Rope. Fiber can also be purchased from Kristoff’s stall.
Disney Dreamlight Valley - What is Rope For?
Rope is primarily used as a material in crafting, but it is also required for a few quests. Four Rope is needed to repair Donald’s Ship-House in a questplayers unlock after rescuing Donald, and three Rope is requested by Anna in order to repair Kristoff’s Climbing Gear. Outside of this, it is also used in the Autumn Wreath, Compass Ottoman, and Nautical Themed Couch.
Finally, Rope can be sold for 60 Star Coins, though this is hardly thebest way to make money inDreamlight Valley. Players would be much better off planting Pumpkins or making five-star meals and selling those instead. Even so, it’s easy enough to fish up a bunch of seaweed, craft it all into Fiber, and then stock up on Rope so that players don’t need to worry about it as a crafting material ever again.
Disney Dreamlight Valleyis available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
