Disney Dreamlight Valleyprovides players with a diverse range of day-to-day activities, such as farming crops, cooking dishes at Chez Remy, and decorating the valley with a wide selection of furniture and decor items. By engaging in these activities, players can earn the in-game currency known asDreamlight, which is used for specific quests and progression within the game.
Alongside this regular progression system,Dreamlight Valleyalso features special events calledStar Paths, which are time-limited events typically lasting for two months. These Star Paths offer exclusive, themed rewards, including furniture, clothing, and other fun items. What is a Star Path in Disney Dreamlight Valley
With each major update toDisney Dreamlight Valley, a new Star Path event will begin. These events last for approximately60 daysand offer exclusive rewards that players can purchase in exchange for a special currency also available only during the event. Star Path events are similar to “battle pass” systems used by many online games, such asFortniteandDiablo IV. These events offer players the opportunity to unlock exclusive rewards by complete specific missions, referred to as duties inDreamlight Valley, during a set event period. Every time a player completes one of the Star Path’s duties, a new one will become available in its place.
The Star Path can be accessed by clicking on the “Event” tab in the game’s menu. The standard Star Path is unlocked by default, allowing players to immediately begin working on its duties. An additional row of duties is hidden behind a button offering players the opportunity to unlock the game’sPremium Star Pathby spendingDreamlight Valley’s paid in-game currency,Moonstones. Players who have unlocked the Premium Star Path will have a total of six available duties to choose from at a time.
A Star Path featuressix pages of unique, exclusive rewardsthat can be purchased using the event currency, earned through completing duties. Each new page of rewards is unlocked only after unlocking3 of the 7 rewardsfrom the previous tier. A seventh tier is available only in the Premium Star Path, offering the players the opportunity to exchange excess event tokens for Moonstones. This is typically only an option for players who have skipped rewards on previous tiers as the player can earn only so many tokens by completing all the event’s tasks.

Unlocking the Premium Star Path and Its Benefits
All Star Paths inDisney Dreamlight Valleyoffer a standard, “free” version that is available to all players at no additional cost. The standard Star Path offers players three duties at once that can be completed to earn the event tokens and purchase specific rewards. The game also features a Premium Star Path which can be purchased usingDreamlight Valley’spaid in-game currency, Moonstones.
Purchasing the Premium Star Path unlocks additional duties and Premium-exclusive rewards. Additionally, players who have unlocked the Premium Star Path can choose from six available duties, allowing them to continuously progress in the event and lessening the chance of becoming stuck with a set of time-gated tasks.

There is an alternative version of the Premium Star Path that can be obtained for3300 Moonstones. This version includes all the same advantages as the regular Premium Star Path and also provides 100 event tokens. Players who did not purchase this version will have a one-time opportunity to spend800 Moonstonesto purchase the event tokens separately.
The bulk of the rewards offered by each Star Path areexclusive to the Premium Star Path. These rewards include significant items such asfurnitureandclothingthat cannot be acquired by any other means. Hence, players must acquire and activate the Premium Star Path if they desire to obtain these special rewards. In the Star Path Rewards menu, items that are exclusive to the Premium Star Path are identified by a lock icon and labeled as “Premium” instead of displaying the token cost. However, even after unlocking the Premium Star Path, players will still need to spend tokens to purchase these rewards. That’s why the Premium Star Path also includes extra tasks for players to complete and earn the necessary currency.
How to Earn and Spend Tokens During a Star Path Event
AStar Pathevent inDisney Dreamlight Valleyfeatures various tasks, or duties, for players to complete to earn a special event-exclusive currency, referred to in game as tokens. These tokens can be used only during their respective Star Path event and will disappear after the event, and it’s purchase grace period have ended. Therefore, it’s important that players exchange any currency they have earned for the event’s exclusive rewards before they expire. Players are typically given an additional week after a Star Path ends during which they can spend their remaining tokens.
Each Star Path event offers a sufficient number of tasks for players to complete to ensure they can earn the required tokens to unlock all rewards. To unlockall rewards on the standard, no-cost Star Path, players need to accumulate a total of375 tokens. To unlockall standard and Premium rewards, players must earn a total of1000 tokensthroughout the event. For players who find themselves lacking the necessary tokens or the time to complete the associated duties to earn them, there is the option to directly purchase tokens in exchange for Moonstones.

During The Wonder of Pixar Star Path event inDisney Dreamlight Valley, players are provided with an assortment of duties to accomplish in order to earn the event currency. These duties involve completing basic tasks within the valley. Players can select from three duties, or six if they are on the Premium Star Path, and upon completing a duty, a new task becomes available.
