Earlier this year, it was revealed thatDragon Ball FighterZis planning to release Ultra Instinct Goku as a DLC character in the game. Longtime fans ofDragon Ballwould know thatUltra Instinct Goku is his most powerful form yet, making his addition to the game’s roster of fighters an exciting one for dedicated fans. Several days ago, Bandai Namco released a new trailer for Ultra Instinct Goku that also revealed his release date to the game, which will fall on August 08, 2025.

Now, the alternate costumes forUltra InstinctGoku have been revealed, and when the DLC character is released, a wide assortment of color packs will be available, allowing fans to customize the outfits that Ultra Instinct wears. Essentially, this means that all of Goku’s GI uniforms are dyed differently, and from what can be seen in the announcement, there are at least six color options available, but it is possible that there could be more.

Interestingly enough, one of the color options available, more specifically, the bluish-green one is reminiscent of the outfit that Goku wears at the end ofDragon Ball Z. This special outfit has rarely been used in the depictions of the character, which is why the DLC option inDragon Ball FighterZwill definitely be a welcome addition to longtimeDragon Ball Zfans.

Of course, apart from the alternate costumes available for Ultra Instinct Goku, past trailers also showcased the skills and abilitiesthe DLC character will have in the game. In the trailer released several days ago, players got a sneak peek of Ultra Instinct’s Level 3 Super and his win screen animation. Unfortunately, the trailer also showed Goku fighting Universe 11’s Jiren, but it did not show his Dramatic Finish with Kefla, which concerned fans given that a V-Jump promo did claim that he has one with her.

As of the moment, Kefla and Ultra Instinct Goku are the only characters revealed so far for FighterZ Pass 3. As previously mentioned, Ultra Instinct Goku is on his way to the game on May 22, whileKefla is already includedin the game’s roster of fighters. Currently, the identity of the remaining three DLC characters is still a mystery, and there is still no word from Bandai Namco as to when it plans to reveal the remaining characters.

Dragon Ball FighterZis available now for the PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
