It would seem thatDragon Ball Z: Kakarotfans have been waiting with bated breath for new information regarding the second boss battle DLC. As many know, the first boss battle features afight against Beerusand training with Whis, but it didn’t require much to complete. Bandai Namco and CyberConnect 2 have been rather quiet since then, to the point that many fans have looked at event after event to feature new content.
Now, some newly-confirmed information has appeared online via scans of V-Jump magazine, yet the information itself is rather lackluster.Dragon Ball Z: Kakarotfans have been speculating for months about a lot of things, but there was always one clear agreement in what the next DLC would entail: Super Saiyan Blue.

The latest V-Jump magazine has officially confirmed that the nextDBZ: KakarotDLC will addSuper Saiyan Blue forms for Goku and Vegeta, while two new skills are also being added: Ultimate Vanish and God Speed Fist. It’s unsure which is for whom, but a good guess would be Ultimate Vanish for Vegeta and God Speed Fist for Goku. While the confirmed skills are a nice mention, the fact that the V-Jump just confirms the blatantly obvious inclusions of SSB Goku and Vegeta after months of waiting and months of speculation may not sit right with some.
The more interesting and arguably more important details go unconfirmed. This confirmation does disprove any speculation about aDBZmovie appearing DLC 2, but there were many who had already deduced this. However, it does not confirm if the second boss battle DLC features a fight againstGolden Frieza or Hit, as these options are often hotly debated. And of course, without any confirmation to the exact content of DLC 2, there’s no release date for it.
DLC 1 seemingly set up a DLC pattern forDragon Ball Z: Kakarot, but that was quickly thrown out the window. Now, it cannot be said for sure if this is just the start of marketing for the DLC, or if it will be another month before more vital information is revealed. Many have said this would be aDragon Ball Z: Kakarotmonth, so if so, this would be a decent start. However, new information as to the exact contents of the DLC would likely be appreciated by many in the fanbase.
