However, by harnessing the power and capabilities of Unreal Engine 5, Funcom has expanded on the desert planet of Arrakis, allowing players to craft their own stories within the world. In addition to showcasing impressive visuals, theDune: Awakeninggameplay trailer features base-building, combat, traversal, and various survival mechanics.
Rather than simply focusing on surviving the harsh deserts of Arrakis,Dune: Awakeningwill ask players to survivethe political powers of theDuneuniverse. Much like the main character Paul Atreides from the book and film series, players can insert themselves deep into the political intrigue of the nefarious and power-hungry in-universe government.
