Even the lowest ofElden Ringenemies can be lethal to an untrained Tarnished, and the internet is filled with stories and videos of players succumbing in a variety of amusing ways. Some of these deaths occur due to bad luck on the player’s part, with oneunfortunate Tarnished losing out on 120k runesthanks to a killing blow that sent them falling to their doom off a ledge. Reddit user Jaggoon recently joined the ever-growing list ofElden Ringplayers to die in a sudden and bizarre manner, as shown in a clip they shared on r/EldenRing. This brief gameplay video starts with their Tarnished gaining the upper hand against a beastly Royal Revenant by striking it with a blow that reduces its health to a mere fragment. However, the gruesome arachnid quickly turns the tables with a devastating combo attack that obliterates Jaggoon with a flurry of strikes. Before long, Jaggoon is met withElden Ring’s infamous “You Died” text as the Royal Revenant spits out some poisonous bile in celebration.
Elden Ring’s intense difficultyis one of the many aspects that has kept players coming back to FromSoftware’s latest hit for the past year - and leading to it winning Game of the Year at multiple video game awards shows like The Game Awards 2022.
