A keen-eyedElden Ringplayer notices that the map of the Lands Between looks remarkably similar to the Crewmate from online multiplayer social deduction game,Among Us. The world ofElden Ringis vast and contains a multitude of different biomes, ecosystems, landmasses, bodies of water, etc., and yet, a drawn outline around the map shows a striking similarity to theAmong UsCrewmate, of all things.
Elden Ring’s map and theAmong UsCrewmatehave a long history together, with players discovering certain areas of the map that look just like the character. In those cases, the Crewmate appears as a quick shadow or outline in a small corner of the map or as a minute detail that really needs to be zoomed in on in order to be discovered. However, this time around, it looks like the entire map of the Lands Between seems to be outlined in the shape of the Crewmate.

Redditor DiegOwO_BrandOwO_01 posted a picture of the Lands Between with an outline that forms the shape of theAmong UsCrewmate, and it even has a lighter colored area in the middle of the head/face area to represent the masked jumpsuit that the Crewmate wears.TheAmong UsCrewmate is popular, showing up as a costume or character in other games and even being as a playable character at times. As such, people seeing the Crewmate all over the place, like outlined in the map ofElden Ring, isn’t all that surprising.
TheAmong UsCrewmate shows up in many games, whether as an actual costume, playable character, DLC, or just as an outline or image that players are seeing everywhere they look. Many of the posts about these “crossovers” say something like, “just found something sus in this game,” referring to the common way in whichAmong Usplayers talk to each other about the Imposter in the game.
One of the most popular skins inFall Guysis that of theAmong UsCrewmate, Crewmate back blings appear inFortnite, and Cards based onAmong Usare going to be included inThe Binding of Isaac: Four Souls Requiem. With theAmong UsCrewmate as popular as it is, gamers and meme lovers are excited to see the character come up in any way, including as a vague outline of theElden Ringmap.
AsElden Ringcontinues to be an extremely popular game, more and more players could start to recognize the Crewmate on the game’s map of the Lands Between. And, as DiegOwO_BrandOwO_01 comments on their post, perhaps a crossover DLC will make an appearance as well.
