This patch fixes a bug where some incantations, weapons, skills, or items that increased attack power were not applied properly to the various spells available inElden Ring. It also fixes a bug that would cause the Contagious Fury skill from the Jellyfish Shield to keep increasing attack power despite users unequipping it or switching to a different weapon. Finally, the latestElden Ringupdate decreases the poise damage of the Cursed-Blood Slice skill of Morgott’s Cursed Sword.
The next section in the patch notes discusses ray tracing on PC, confirming that this feature has been enabled by default under certain circumstances. Bandai Namco mentions that if players are facing any issues with the ray tracing feature inElden Ring, users can turn it off from the in-game menu. It also states that gamers should make sure they meet theminimum system requirements for ray tracing inElden Ring, along with updating their graphics driver. Patch 1.09.1 forElden Ringappears fairly small when compared to some of the other updates, but fans will hopefully come across fewer bugs when playing the game.
Gamers should note that FromSoftware has already announced anew expansion forElden RingtitledShadow of the Erdtree. Not much has been revealed about this DLC, other than that it’s currently in development, so fans will have to wait for information about its price and the amount of content on offer.
