Traversing the Lands Between inElden Ringis no easy task. Even with divine inspiration from the Erdtree, The Tarnished’s path is arduous and ridden with danger. To survive the treacherous Mountaintops of the Giants, and ride valiantly through therot-infested Swamp of Aeonia, having the right weapons and skills is key.
As they progress through the story, players can choose how to level up their character, and this will greatly shape their combat abilities.Dexterity, or “Dex”, is among the most popular Statsin the game, as it allows for multiple builds and scales well with many upgraded or infused weapons. That said, the best Dex armament is strictly reserved for those determined to hone their skills to the maximum. These weapons in particular have the highest Dex requirements in the game.

Whilethere are several other weaponsinElden Ringthat require 22 Dex to wield,Nagakibahas the strongest secondary Strength scaling of the lot. However, that doesn’t come free, as it also has the highest Strength requirements compared to similar weapons in its category. This weapon also has a passive Bleeding effect that is devastating on its own. But when combined with infusions and effect-buffing Ashes of War, such as Seppuku, a few hits can almost instantly decimate any boss' Health bar.
Players can obtain Nagakiba by defeating Bloody Finger Hunter Yura north of Murkwater Cave. Alternatively, they can complete her questline at the Second Church of Marika.

Standard issue among the Night’s Cavalry, the Nightrider Flail is a powerful weapon that can bludgeon enemies easily and cause decent bleed buildup after just a few hits. While it doesn’t have the range most katanas and greatswords do, it can still be a powerful weapon, as it delivers swift blows.
The weapon’s Dexterity scaling is average, whereas Strength scaling is quite low. With a carry weight of 6, it’s a bit on the heavier side. Players can get theNightrider Flailby defeating the Night’s Cavalry at the Weeping Peninsula.

For most players, Castle Sol is one of the most challenging and frustrating areas inElden Ring. This is not only because of the boss at the end of it, but also due to the dual sword-wielding ghost knights, Divine Beast Dancing Lions, and annoying packs of wolves within its walls.
In addition to a key item needed to fight Malenia, players who explore Castle Sol will also be rewarded with theEclipse Shotei. This curved sword scales primarily with Dexterity and Faith, and secondarily with Strength. This weapon’s special skill is the Death Flare, which sets the curved sword ablaze and may inflict theDeath Blightailment on enemies. The Eclipse Shotei can be found at the altar of the church in the southeast section of Castle Sol.

It also has a passive bleeding effect, and a Critical damage bonus that can be the difference between victory and defeat.

As many players have learned the hard way,Dragons inElden Ringcan be a big problem. Luckily, there are many ways to counteract their immense size, powerful claw swipes, and godlike thunder attacks. TheDragon King’s Cragbladeis ideal for fighting these creatures, as it has decent lightning damage on top of its average Dexterity scaling Stats.
This weapon’s special skill, Thundercloud Form, allows players to briefly transform into a red storm cloud that lands a punishing strike, decimating the Health of most bosses in the game. To obtain the Dragon King’s Cragblade, trade the Remembrance of the Dragonlord with Enia at the Roundtable Hold.

Elden Ringis full of neat-looking weapons with carefully designed animations that can make even the weakest Tarnished look epic. However, only theBolt of Gransaxwill make players feel like they’re the all-powerful Zeus himself.Located in Leyndell, Royal Capital, at the top of a gigantic dragon statue, this weapon is great for dealing massive amounts of lightning damage, which is very effective against draconic enemies and full-sized dragons.
If that wasn’t enough, the Bolt of Gransax can hit enemies several meters away, which makes it an outstanding choice for crowded situations. That is, if players can meet the ridiculous Dexterity Stat the weapon requires.

Arguably the hardest boss in the entire Soulsborne universe, the daughter of Queen Marika The Eternal and Elder Lord Radagon, Malenia Blade of Miquella is a force to be reckoned with, and so is her blade. TheHand of Maleniais a katana built into Malenia’s prosthetic arm. It scales primarily with Strength and Dexterity, and has an absurd Dexterity requirement of 48.
Players who defeat Malenia will not only be rewarded with an unmatched sense of pride, but they’ll also receive this legendary weapon of mass destruction. And yes, it includesthe Waterfowl Dance skill. It isn’t as devastating as the version Malenia uses, which is a bit disappointing, but it still packs a huge punch and looks great.
