Until July 28,Epic Games Storeusers are able to pick upTannenbergandShop Titans. The former is a WW1 shooter focused on realism, while the latter lets players set up a shop for would-be travelers. These were released on Thursday, July 21, and as always, the game replacing them on July 28 has been announced.
Beginning July 28,Epic Games Store users will be able to pick up Lawn Mowing Simulator—until August 4. Pretty much everything is in the name for this title. It’s one of the many, highly-detailed simulators out there that focus on everyday or profession-specific activities, likePowerWash Simulator. This may limit the appeal of the game, as those who don’t enjoy simulators may avoid it. Those who might enjoy may not want to play this one specifically, because it is lawn mowing season in many parts of the world. But this admittedly limited appeal is expanded with its two DLCs.

Epic Games Store: Lawn Mowing Simulator DLC Injects Some Interesting Prospects
Lawn Mowing Simulatorallows players to use an expansive roster of real-world licensed lawnmowers from major manufacturers, all set in the peaceful Great British countryside. It’s as relaxing as it is in-depth, but for those who want a change of scenery, it has two major DLCs that do just that.
The Ancient Britain DLC metaphorically takes players to the past and allows them tomow the lawns of British ruins. This includes the Royal Stones, Druid’s Tor, The Ancient Aurochs (one of Britain’s oldest inns), and Auroch Hills—which features a Bronze-Age field panting. Damage to the last historic site comes with a heavy fine, while each area is a nice change of pace for players.

There’s not a game out there that couldn’t be improved with dinosaurs, and the same goes forLawn Mowing Simulator. Its secondDLC is titled Dino Safariand adds another four locations to the game, and between all of them, there are 8 dinosaurs on the grounds players must maintain. They have to mow around T-Rex footprints in the T-Rex Paddock, complete cutting and litter contracts in Cretaceous Canyon, maintain the Herbivore Valley where children play near a Brachiosaurus and a Parasaurolophus, and keep the dangerous Raptor Enclosure in tip-top shape.
Right now, it’s not certain how these DLCs will be priced on theEpic Games Store. At its competitor Steam, these DLCs are on sale, but their typical price is $4.99. To add a little more intrigue to an already-free game, it’s a worthwhile investment.
