Heirlooms are a popular, but wildly expensive, cosmetic melee item inApex Legends. They’ve been in the game since day one, whereWraith got her Kunai. They’ve evolved and grown over time, with many newApex Legendsheirloom animations trumping Wraith’s. Nonetheless, season after season, more and more are added to the game.

With the launch of the recentAwakening event, Valkyrie’s heirloom—a winged spear—has been added to the game. That brings the total of Legends with Heirlooms to 14 out of the total 21 characters in the game. The average wait time for Heirlooms is around 300 days since their addition to the game, though this is no exact science, but it means that 7 characters are still waiting for their heirlooms.

Apex Legends Characters Without an Heirloom

From the get-go, it’s obvious that Loba is currently the legend currently waiting the longest. She released in season 13, with season 14 character Rampart and, again, season 17 character Valkyriegetting them before her. The distribution of heirlooms doesn’t appear to be based on any sort of seniority; after all, Wattson and Crypto went well over 800 days without an heirloom.

It stands to reason Loba would be next inApex Legends, and it would be interesting if her heirloom was something more decked out (to her taste) Wolfhead staff. Unfortunately, Heirlooms are not confirmed ahead of the event’s reveal, and while some have leaked, it’s a guessing game for many of the legends above.

Horizon’s is hard to imagine, but it would likely be something futuristic, scientific, and/or high-tech to really fit her character. For Fuse, it would be interesting if he’d carry about thegolden grenade seen in hisApex Legendsdebut trailer. Seer would need something dramatic to accentuate his showmanship, while an upgraded and deadly sword would be good for Ash—if not a Rat.

Mad Maggie and Newcastle are the least likely to get an heirloom anytime soon, given their recent additions to the roster. Maggie’s would be something super-aggressive, whileNewcastle’s would likely be somewhat knightly—given their two character concepts. Loba, Horizon, and/or Fuse really should be the next up, but until Respawn Entertainment announces these, their mains will just have to wait, see, and speculate.

Apex Legendsis available now on Mobile, PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
