Confirmed Apex Legends x Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Skins So Far
TheApex LegendsxFinal Fantasy 7 Rebirthcrossover eventwill drop on July 10, 2025. So far, three skins have been confirmed for Crypto, Horizon, and Wraith. These are rumored to be sold via the in-game store.
Crypto - Cloud Strife Skin
Recon Legend Cryptowas given the honor of sporting the Cloud Strife skin for theFinal Fantasy 7 Rebirthcrossover event. It’s fitting as both Crypto and Cloud are stoic, but they also care about their peers.
What’s interesting about the Cloud Strife skin is that it might include aBuster Sword. The trailer showed Crypto performing the “Braver” Limit Break using the massive sword, which sparked theories that players would be given the opportunity to use the iconic weapon in battle for a limited time.

Horizon - Aerith Gainsborough Skin
Known as the mom of theApex Legendsroster, Horizon was aptly given theFF7Aerith Gainsboroughskin. Aerith is described as caring and optimistic even when she’s in imminent danger. These are also qualities that manyApex Legendsplayers associate Horizon with.
What sets the two characters apart is thatHorizon is a Skirmisher inApex Legends, a class that utilizes movement abilities to engage in combat, while Aerith is mainly a healer and magic user. It’s still unknown how these qualities will converge during the crossover event.

Wraith - Vincent Valentine Skin
Wraith is a deadly Legendwith a mysterious past, and a fiery determination to find the people that locked her up in a detention cell and took away her memories. This darkness makes her a good fit for the Vincent Valentine skin. InFinal Fantasy 7, Vincent is always brooding about his past sins and keeps his burdens to himself. Both he and Wraith have a darkness within their personalities, but they always watch out for their allies.
Just like Cloud’s Buster Sword,Final Fantasy 7fans recognizeVincent’s Cerberus handgun. If the crossover event does make use ofFinal Fantasy 7 Rebirthweapons, Cerberus would be an interesting limited-time addition toApex Legends' arsenal. It can also be a skin for one of the handguns in the game.

Rumored Features and Skins
It’s possible thatApex Legendsmight reveal more skins for theFinal Fantasy 7 Rebirthcrossover in the next few weeks. Some dataminers alleged that there will also be skins for Wattson, Newcastle, and Valkyrie. Select weapons will reportedly receive Epic skins as well. On the cosmetics side, players will seemingly receive frames, trackers, and badges inspired byFinal Fantasy 7 Rebirth.
These features aren’t confirmed yet, so players should take the information with a grain of salt. But consideringFinal Fantasy 7’s compelling universe and roster of characters, it wouldn’t be a surprise ifApex Legendsmaximizes these elements for the crossover.
