The Best Modules And Rig For Nimbus In Exoprimal

Nimbus' gets the most value out ofthe Blade and Aid Rigs. Her health is relatively low and her handguns, while powerful, have a small magazine size, so the Blade’s ability to paralyze multiple dinosaurs simultaneously can buy Nimbus time to make a getaway when HP levels are low. Similarly, the Aid Rig is an ideal choice for the healer as teammates are reliant on it to be able to support them, so ensuring Nimbus remains healthy during the war games is paramount. For those looking for a more evasive approach to combat, the Catapult Rig is also a solid choice for Nimbus, as it will eliminate any immediate threats to its survival.

Nimbus has a number of modulesthat are exclusive to its Exosuit type that will improve the effectiveness of its relevant abilities. In slot 1, players can choose between the Critical Shot orthe Speed Shot, with the latter increasing the amount of health Nimbus can heal as well as the speed of the projectiles, which is favorable in heavy combat situations.Nimbus' most valuable module is the Rapid Switchwhich, at its highest upgrade level, can all but eliminate the cooldown time for weapon switching, and can be equipped in slot two. The third slot modules, Holo Bulk and Quick Holo, focus on the health and cooldown time of the Holo Warp ability.

The first two module slots are best used for the Nimbus-specific upgrades, however, players can perform well without upgrading the Holo Warp. Slot three could be better utilized withthe Crisis Module, which increases speed when health is low,or the Durability Module, which increases the Exosuit’s total health.

Tips For Playing Nimbus In Exoprimal

The key toscoring high totals with Nimbusis to not be shy with healing teammates. Even before the match starts, players can easily earn 1,000-2,000 from repairing comrades, as shooting a teammate with full health will give them a temporary HP boost, evident by the green color of their health bars. That aside, Nimbus ismost effectively used offensively with a strategy that involves getting in, doing damage, and getting out. Generally, timing offensive assaults in line with the Spreadshot availability, as well as when smaller dinosaurs are first being summoned, can result in some big totals and eliminate the dinosaur threat before it even arrives.

It is essential with Nimbus thatelongated periods of direct combat are avoided, and going toe-to-toe witha bigger dinosaur is left with the Assault and Tank classExosuits. In heavy combat encounters, Nimbus is best used in the background healing allies to avoid becoming outnumbered, while making small contributions to the team’s defense via well-timed Spreadshot attacks and utilizing the punchy Mars handgun. The best position a Nimbus can be in is behind the shield of a Tank like Roadblock or Krieger, where it can keep its heavily-armored comrade healthy while its shield abilities keep Nimbus protected.

Nimbus players will want touse the speed and agility advantage to avoid conflict with larger dinosaursand opposing Exosuits. It is able to move and jump with ease, and the Holo Warp ability can, when used effectively, make Nimbus completely disappear from a potentially disastrous combat situation. One offensive area, however, that it can excel in is taking down aerial targets. Since the handgun isn’t an automatic weapon and has some powerful projectiles, Nimbus can take the reinsin a Dinosaur Cull missionwhen the flying Dino are the only targets left to achieve victory.

Nimbus is the perfect balance between being a team player and a dinosaur slayer, but players will be most evidently rewarded by keeping its fellow Exopilots in tip-top shape.
