In the Atlantic City part two, America’s Playground update, players were given the ability to explore the various locations in Atlantic City outside of expeditions for the first time. This update also brought in new questlines for players to enjoy. Some of these quests introduced players to new enemies, and others were small yet interesting quests centered around finding or helping individuals.
Out of all the new quests introduced toFallout 76in the Atlantic City update, there’s one that doesn’t get a lot of attention. That is the Hells Eagles quest. This side quest is a fairly small one, but it is a fun one.

How To Start Hells Eagles
To start this side quest, the player will need to head tothe Whitespring Refuge. Once inside, head to the right. Go past the bar and into the large room behind it.
At the back of the room, there’s a guy called Jeremiah Hopkins standing behind a desk. To the right of him, there are a bunch of posters on the wall;read the poster called Missing: Jack Hunter.Once the player reads this poster, the quest will start.

Alternatively, if the player fast travels to the Crater, there is a poster at the front entrance that can be read to start the quest.
Speak To Oscar Gonzalez
Learn About Jack
After reading the poster, theplayer will need to speak to Oscar Gonzales. He can be found hanging out with theraiders over at The Crater. Oscar, Jack’s friend, will tell the player about Jack Hunter. He is a journalist, and he’s gone missing. He’ll task the player with finding him.
He gives the player a holotape that contains some clues to his whereabouts. After listening to the holotape, the player learns that Jack Hunter has been trying to track down a man named Little Rob for an interview.

According to the holotape, Jack was heading out to meet up with someone who may know where to find Little Rob. This individual was hiding in a shack near a golf course.
It’s Time To Get Some Answers, Sort Of
A new marker will appear on the map for the player to head to. It leads to Surly’s Shack. Unsurprisingly, once inside, the player will be greeted by a woman named Surly.
Eagle-eyed players may notice that there’s something a little odd about Surly. After talking to her, she will insist that the player try herspecial Buffout chem. However, after consuming the Buffout, Surly will attack the player. It turns out that she drugged the player. After killing Surly, the player will need to search the shack for clues about Jack’s whereabouts.

Search Surly’s Shack For Clues
Find Out What Surly Did To Jack
There are a few clues to be found around the cabin, but the clue that players need to find isa note hiddenin the cooler next to the bed.Inside the cooler, there’s Surly’s Note.Upon reading the note, the player finds out that Surly drugged Jack Hunter with the same Spiked Buffout that she insists the player tries.
After Jack passed out, Surly took him to the Crosshair so Rob (Little Rob) could decide what to do with him. In the note, it is suggested that Little Rob should make him a jester.

Find Out What Little Rob Did With Jack
The player will have a quest marker that will take them to the Crosshair. Once there, a small group of Blood Eagles will attack the player, kill them, and head inside through the door to Little Rob’s Hideout.
Once inside, there are more Blood Eagles that the player will need to take care of. Once they have been killed, the player will be instructed tospeak to Jack Hunter, who is alive and well.Forever the journalist, Jack Hunter, will be fairly angry with the player for ‘killing all of his interviewees.’ He will tell the player to accompany him to interview Little Rob.

Interview Little Rob
The Big Interview
Jack will lead the player into a throne room where Little Rob is waiting. Unlike his name suggests, Little Rob is anything but little. This big guy is not too pleased about all the noise that the player makes upon entering the Crosshair.
Surprisingly, Little Rob actually agrees to be interviewed. During the interview, the player can ask him various questions. Nothing too special happens here, but the player ends up with two choices. They can either kill Little Rob or just finish the interview peacefully.Unfortunately, it doesn’t make much difference what choice the player makes.

Either way, at the end of the interview, Jack gives the player a note to hand to Oscar. This note is proof that Jack is alive. Jack decides to lie low for a while, so he won’t deliver the note himself. Then, the player will need to head back to the Crater and hand Oscar the note tocomplete the quest.
Hells Eagles Quest Rewards
A Couple Of Interesting New Plans
Upon completing this quest, the player willreceive some nice rewards. These include one random plan, some random consumables and meds, and some XP. The XP will depend on the various perks and effects that the player is using. The main reward for completing Hells Eagles is two new mod plans for the new Civil Engineer Armor, Torso, and Limbs.
The first plan is called theCivil Engineer Asbestos Lined Armor Torso. For those who don’t know, when applied, this mod makes the player completely immune to being set on fire. As most players know, fire tends to cause a lot of damage inFallout 76,so it may come in quite handy.

As for the limb plan, it’s called theCivil Engineer Lighter Build Armor Limbs. This, as its name suggests, reduces the weight of each limb it’s applied to. It also gives players a small boost to AP. While it’snot the best effect, it is still good to have.
