WithFIFA 23set to launch late next month, EA Sports has given fans plenty of reason to be excited about the newest edition of the annual association football franchise. EA has already revealed changes coming to several game modes, includingnew additions to Career Modelike Player Career Personality allowing players to more directly define their player character. With professional clubs from all over the world being featured in the game, EA has recently revealed the staggering number of players represented within the soccer game.
EA Sports recently announced several major renewals and partnerships for the future of its football franchise, including several clubs and stadiums for the upcomingFIFA. With all of its new additions and renewals,FIFA 23was revealed to boast an impressive 19,000 players, including 700 different teams representing 30 different professional leagues worldwide. Some of the most notable partnerships for the 2022 edition of the game include legendary Italian team Juventus and an extension with English club Tottenham Hotspur FC.

Alongside thenewly-introduced clubs and players,FIFA 23also revealed several new stadiums set to be introduced in the upcoming soccer game. The previously-mentioned Juventus will bring with it the team’s home arena of Allianz Stadium, as well as SC Freiburg’s Europa-Park Stadion and the Manchester City Women’s home turf of Academy Stadium among others. The partnership will also include Juventus legend Claudio Marchisio as a FIFA Ultimate Team Hero inFIFA 23.
EA’s renewals came alongside a major announcement of a partnership withSpanish professional league La Ligato begin in the 2023/24 season. EA Sports' soccer franchise, under its new name ofEA Sports FC, will obtain naming rights for La Liga competitions as well as anEA Sports FCrebranding of the Spanish league. La Liga will also see an increased presence in EA’s annual franchise, with unspecified “in-game integrations” forEA Sports FCas well as broadcasts available in-game.

EA Sports officially confirmed theend of its partnership with FIFAearlier this year, concluding a collaboration with the soccer association that had lasted thirty years. EA Sports’FIFAfranchise has grown into arguably the developer’s most successful sports franchise worldwide, with FIFA itself reportedly looking for a new partner.FIFA 23will mark the end of an era for the massively popular soccer franchise.
FIFA 23is scheduled to release on September 27 for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
