This big announcement happened during theFinal Fantasy 14Fan Fest event, with a special appearance by Head of Xbox Phil Spencer himself. An open beta for the Xbox version of the game will take place during patch 6.5, prior to the Spring 2024 release.Final Fantasy 14on Xbox will have “faster loading” and 4K support. Otherwise, fans can expect a similar experience toFinal Fantasy 14as it exists on other platforms.
