Summary
February just got a little busier inFinal Fantasy 14, as Square Enix pulled back the curtain on the 2024 version of its annual Valentine’s Day event. Known as “Valentione’s Day” inFinal Fantasy 14, the love-themed holiday will give players two cute new rewards upon completing a short series of limited-time quests.
The news of Valentione’s Day inFinal Fantasy 14came just afterthe launch of the Moogle Treasure Tome event. While past iterations of the Moogle Treasure Trove event revolved around grinding specific dungeons and PVP maps, the event added new objectives such as ocean fishing and Gold Saucer GATEs to the rotation of ways that players can earn Irregular Tomestones of Genesis I. These tomestones can then be traded to Itinerant Moogles located in Ul’dah, Limsa Lominsa, and Gridania, for various cosmetic rewards. The Moogle Treasure Trove runs until March 11, with a follow-up event launching at a later date.

However, the Moogle Treasure Trove event will soon be joined by the next seasonal holiday inFinal Fantasy 14.According to Square Enix, the 2024 edition of Valentione’s Day begins on Wednesday, February 7 at 3:00 AM Eastern, and concludes two weeks later, on Wednesday, February 21, at 9:59 AM Eastern. Players looking to take part in the festivities will want to head for the forest city of Gridania, to Mih Khetto’s Amphitheatre, at the samelocation as December’s Starlight Celebration. This year’s version of Valentione’s Day is dubbed “Straight from the Shape of the Heart” and offers two new rewards for players that complete the quest “The Symbol of Love” by helping the characters Astrid and Emilie.
