Final Fantasy 16follows Clive Rosfield on his journey across the world of Valisthea. On his ventures, he encounters a variety of interesting characters, some friendly and others not so. While dealing with the latter requires a few swift attacks, dealing with the former will sometimes task Clive with completing a side quest.

Clive returns to The Hideaway duringFinal Fantasy 16’sRighting Wrongsmain quest and unlockstwo new side questsduring his time there. After he speaks to Cid in Cid’s Solar, he is free to begin these quests by speaking to their respective quest-givers; to start theRed Letter Dayside quest, he must find and interact with an NPC named Glenn.
How To Start Red Letter Day In Final Fantasy 16
Once players unlock the"Speak with Charon"objective as part of theRighting Wrongsmain quest, they can travel toThe Bunksarea of The Hideaway to findGlenn, Courier. Speaking to him, Clive will learn that Glenn is in a bit of a pickle; he lost some extremely valuable items and needs to find them as soon as possible. Once players accept the quest, Clive can set off to find the missing items.
When the conversation ends, players should open the world map andfast-travel to Orabelle Downs, just northeast of The Hideaway. Immediately after spawning in, Clive will be faced withthree green quest markers, each of which marks the approximate location of one of Glenn’s lost items.
All Missing Item Locations
Though the size of the green circles on the map can be a little intimidating at first, finding all of Glenn’s missing items isn’t actually that difficult, as they are all pretty clear to see. That said, it can still take time to find some of them if players begin their search in the wrong areas.

The First Missing Item
After Clive spawns in Orabelle Downs,following the dirt path leading northeastwill lead him to the first missing item. The item can then be picked up by standing next to it andholding the X button.
The Second Missing Item
Continuing along the dirt path while ignoring the path to the right, Clive will find anopening in the fenceto his right. The second lost item can be found here.
The Third Missing Item
The third item can be foundfurther up the dirt path. Ignoring both the turn to the left and the turn to the right, Clive must hug the stone wall to his left until it begins to curve. Here, the third missing item can be seenon the ground next to some large rocks.
Cid’s Letter
Before players can return to Glenn, they must first find out what happened to Cid’s letter. To do this, Clive must continue traveling northeast along the dirt path andspeak to the nearby yard hand. The yard hand will then inform Clive that she recently saw a dog with something in its mouth heading toLostwing, prompting the protagonist to investigate.
Fast-traveling to Lostwing, Clive should proceed forward and use the stairs to his right to reach the other side of the pond. To theleft of the large wooden house, he will find a dog playing with Cid’s Letter.
How To Complete Red Letter Day In Final Fantasy 16
Once Clive takes Cid’s Letter from the dog that stole it, he can return to The Hideaway andspeak to Glenn to complete the quest. Glenn will thank Clive for his help before telling him a brief story about Cid’s daughter.
When the conversation ends, Clive will receive20 Wyrritesand10 Sharp Fangs, handy materials that can be used tocraft and upgrade gear.
