How To Find Weiss The Immaculate
Weiss can be found in the Shinra Combat Simulator in Chapter 17if users are playing the game on hard mode. Right after the Episode INTERmission, players will find themselves in the combat simulator speaking with Chadley. He will seem to be hesitant about uploading Weiss into the simulator. The wonderfully designed boss is seemingly impossible to defeat without a sound strategy. The only way to take him down is by stacking stagger high enough to deplete his health pool.

After speaking with Chadley, select Three-Person Team VS The Immaculate One in the combat simulator. It will cost 700 gil to get in, but defeating Weiss will reward the player with Götterdämmerung, one of the best accessories in the game. The accessorygives the character a full limit break at the beginning of the fightand passively regenerates limit break thereafter. For any character, the item is essential on hard mode. Having a full limit break is incredibly overpowered when fighting bosses with a lot of health in the tank. The Götterdämmerung is also a reward for defeating the Pride and Joy Prototype in the simulator.
Party Choice And Equipment
Aerith, Barrett, andTifaare the best choices when facing off against the boss. Using the following builds will give gamers a better chance of defeating Weiss.
Aerith
Aerith should be equipped withtheReinforced Staff, ideally with reprievefor lethal attack protection. She will be a supporting party member, so she will perform better with thePlatinum EarringsandSupreme Bracer, each of which boost Magic. As far as Materia is concerned, healingwill be a priority on Aerith.Luck Upis useful too, as it will help Tifa.
Barrett
Again, gamers will want to haveReprieveon Barrett’s slot one item. TheEKG cannonworks quite well. In the final two slots, Barrett will need theSupreme BracerandTransference Module. His Supreme Bracer will add a great boost to defense, and the Transference Module will absorb those ATB charges. Just like with Aerith, the only crucial Materia to have ishealing. People can decide how to spec the rest.

Players will also want her to wear theSupreme BracerandSupernatural Wristguards. Supreme Bracers provide a notable defensive boost, while the wristguards increase strength.Tifa will defeat the bosswith stagger and DPS. Thebest Materia choicesare listed below:
How To Defeat Weiss The Immaculate
One of themost overpowered strategies in the gameis to create a stagger focused party. Staggers will prevent Weiss from attacking and increase the chances of uncontested DPS during the fight. Use the below attacks on each character to stagger the boss as much as possible.
The combination of these three abilities will be the difference in the latter half of the fight.
Early Tactics
The main goals early in the fight will be toget Tifa’s limit break up while making Weiss' pressure bar rise. Players should hang in the fight and let Weiss land his attacks early on. Dodge a few of the attacks periodically to make sure he remains pressured.

Weiss' heavy attack is calledEvisceration, and will be the most dangerous strike during the fight. One connected attack is somewhere around5k HP damage. Players can use that number as a guide when deciding to heal Tifa.
To avoid the attack, players will want to create space anddouble dodge to the left or right of the boss. Weiss will lunge forward, creating a large damage circle at the end of the attack. Stab and Crosswise Cleave are longer-ranged attacks that can be avoided with a well-timed dodge. Execution is a combo attack that will deal a decent amount of damage if players fail to dodge.
DPS Phase
Once Tifa’s limit break is full and Weiss is near max pressure, parties can start to pour on the damage. As soon as the boss animation starts, gamers will want toactivate all three of the stagger attacks listed above. If timed correctly, Weiss' stagger percentage will be ridiculously high.
Move-in with Tifa to get even more stagger damage from Purple Pain’s True Strike. Mix in the uppercut attack between True Strikes and the second phase will be over quickly. Stacking stagger will prevent Weiss from mowing the party down, and stop him from using the black hole attack. Additionally, using Tifa’s limit break at the end of the DPS stagger sequencewill exponentially increase stagger.
Phase 3
The next phase will be similar to the first, exceptWeiss will begin shooting rays out of his eyes. After he shoots the rays, Weiss will perform a lunge attack, which need to be double dodged. Instead of focusing on limit break and pressure exclusively, players will need tomix in stagger attacksto verify that Weiss is not able to heal up.
Phases 4 & 5
Phase 4 will be a repeat of phase 1. Allow Tifa to get her limit break maxed out and increase Weiss' pressure. Additionally, double-check supporting ATB before the Immaculate End ability. Either Aerith or Barret should have one full ATB barfor heals. Weiss will use Immaculate End once the phase is over, which willleave all party members at 1 HP. They willonly survive because of Reprieve.
The last phase will resemble either phase 2 or phase 3. The main concern after the Immaculate End is each character’s health. Gamers willneed the healer to use Curagato boost the health of each character. While the spell is working, players can focus solely on evasion. The final important strategy is to keep healing up and get the limit break for each character. This will allow gamers touse the stagger tactic and finish Weiss off with Maximum Fury.
Weiss' Attacks
Each attack, and the best way to dodge it, is included below. This should give players clearer instructions for how to proceed when they encounter each move.
