Fortnite’sVibin' update just came out and there’s been a lot of controversy about how slow the XP gain feels in Chapter 3 Season 3, especially compared to previous Seasons.

And, while Epic Games has addressed thisand increased the Accolade XP gain a bit, players will still need to utilize every trick in the book to max out the Battle Pass in a timely manner, especially if they’re part of the new audience that came with the Zero Build Mode. So, let’s look at some of the fastest ways to level up this time around inFortnite’snewest season.

Grinding Daily & Weekly Challenges

The most obvious method, just like in anyFortniteSeason, is to get started grinding out those Daily and Weekly challenges. How each player gets through their Dailies and Weeklies completely depends on them and the actual challenges themselves.

Zero Build Solo seems to work for a lot of people, as players are a lot more spread out, and it’s easier to focus on doing whatever tasks the Challenge requires without dragging the team down. Meanwhile, some players prefer Modes like Team Rumble where everyone is focused on a specific area of the map, and people grinding Challenges arerun around in the Stormtrying to complete whatever Dailies they can.

Fortnite - Looking At The Milestones In The Milestone Tab

Most of these Challenges are centered around looting specific objects, defeating enemies with specific weapons, or interacting with the new stuff added in the Vibin' update. But, here are a few quick tips to make these relatively easy Challenges even more of a breeze:

Farm All 20 Milestone Stages

The third section of the Quests tab underneath Dailies and Weeklies, Milestones, are a lot more tedious and are, by far, the most “grind-y” method on here, outside of maybe the Tover Tokens. They involve doing certain actions in-game many times over and over until the Milestone reaches Stage 20.

Each Milestone completion gives 5K XP and reaching the Punchcard thresholds (seen at the top of the Milestone Tab) rewards around 20K XP as well. That said, there are a ton of Milestones this Season and a lot of them feel designed to be tedious, so let’s go over some quick tips for grinding specific ones:

Experience Other Game Modes

Probably not what any pure fan of the Battle Royale side ofFortnitewants to hear, butFortniteactually gives out a generous amount of EXP in their other Modes and commonly gives Dailies centered around playing in Creative. Modes like the Imposter Mode, Team Rumble, and Creative Mode can easily generate large chunks of EXP just for playing them.

That said, there are a fair number of Challenges that won’t be able to be completed in these modes too, so ensure to take a look in the Quest tab before getting started.

Explore The Changed Map

There are a lot of new locations to discover with the new Season, such as the Rave Cave, Reality Falls, the visual changes to the Might Monument, and many others. A good one-off method for getting a ton of XP for players who tend to drop in the same areas is to just spend a game in a car, driving around and discovering new Points of Interest that weren’t on their map before.

New players especially want to do this, as an unexplored map makes it very hard to know where to drop or what’s around at any point in time.

Fortnite - Gen Hosino Experience In-Game

Resort To Unintended Methods

This isn’t advice advocating for players to use XP glitches in any capacity, but rather, for players to utilize oversights and so on. For example, the most recent event was the Gen Hoshino Soundwave Series in-game where players would have the Challengeto collect the coin at the end for 40,000 XP.

And while players could also water plants, collect music notes, and eat candy while the lovely music was going on for some extra XP, it’s not anything sizeable. But, if a player who has already completed the Challenge goes back into this experience and just focuses purely on catching Fish or Eating Candy until those interactables disappear, and then they leave and reset, they can farm loads of XP.

Fortnite - A Screenshot from the Save The World Main Game

This is only one example of many and this is all to say that there are a ton of unintended ways to get massive chunks of XP inFortnitejust by thinking creatively or doing a bit of research, especially considering thesheer number of Collabs thatFortnitetends to have.

Save The World Mode

And finally, there’sSave the World!Fortnite: Save The Worldis, funnily enough, whatFortnitewas originally intended to be. But, Epic made their Battle Royale mode to compete withPUBGat the time, and it just went to the moon in terms of popularity and became its billboard cash cow. That said,Save the Worldis still an entire game with an absurd amount of farmable XP in it by completing its own Daily Missions or grinding the “Ride the Lightning” mode found within it.

Though, players should know that this game does have a price tag attached to it, as it is a separate product, and it does have a ton of buildings, as this is also where theFortniteBR’s building system originated as well.

Fortniteis free-to-play on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
